Unit 3 Language in use

教学目标 1、知识与能力: 1)学习、掌握本单元单词、词组(buy, check, stay; at the weekend, listen to music, take a walk, go out, etc.)的意义和用法。通过复习和练习巩固前两个单元的单词和词组,并能熟练运用。

2)通过复习和练习,进一步理解和掌握be going to do表示一般将来时的用法和连词because的用法并能熟练运用。

3)通过复习和练习能准确、熟练地在听说读写练习中运用本模块的知识。

2 、过程与方法:先通过造句练习复习上一单元的语法结构和短语;再进入本课重点短语和句型的学习;然后进行泛读和精读来进一步学习be going to do 结构来表达一般将来时。最后进入写作,根据要求完成短文写作。

3 、情感、态度与价值观:通过复习和练习让学生更牢固地掌握be going to do的结构来表达自己的计划,让学生有合理安排自己学习和生活的意识。

学情分析 学生在前两个单元已对be going to do 表达一般将来时进行了学习,并在听说读写的练习中进行运用,已经能较熟练的掌握这个语法结构。对本单元的复习和练习能较好地完成。

重点难点 1、

重点词汇:picnic, on, else, nobody, at, nothing, silly, fantastic, forward, fan, cheer, hope, win, during, late, walk, country, second, collect, go sightseeing, etc. 2 、学生能进一步掌握be going to do和because的用法并在听说读写练习中熟练运用。教学过程

Step 1：Leading－in 教师: 1. Greetings 2. Revision Time:

2. 通过看图造句复习前两个个单元的重点语法结构和句型。

Step 2：

Pre－task 教师:

1. Ask the students to read the sentences in Language Practice. 2. Have students summarize the use of be going to do. 3. Have students do the exercises with the sentences. 学生: 1. 2. 让学生自己总结 be going to do 结构的用法,巩固知识。

3. 通过句型变化练习来巩固对be going to do 结构的掌握。

Step 3 ：While－task 教师: 1. Have students make a dialogue according to Activity 1in pairs. 2. Have students finish Activity 2 and check the answers in class, then have them read the sentences together.

3. Have students finish Activity 3, choose some to write down their answers on the blackboard and choose some other to check the answer. 4. Lead students to learn the passage in Around the world and have them answer the questions.

学生: 1.Make a dialogue according to Activity 1 in pairs. 2. Finish Activity 2 and check the answers in class, then read the sentences together. 3. Finish Activity 3 and check the answers in class. 4. Learn the passage in Around the world with the teacher and answer the questions. 设计意图与分析: 1.通过对话练习强化对be going to do结构的运用。

2. 通过填空练习强化对be going to do结构的运用和对本模块词组的掌握。

3. 通过造句练习强化对be going to do结构的运用,并通过学生互改来培养合作学习的意识。

4. 通过学习短文回答问题丰富学生课外知识,开拓视野。

Step 4：Post－task 教师:

1.Have students finish the table in Activity 5 in groups. 2. Have students make a dialogue in groups. according to the table. 学生: 1. Finish the table in Activity 5 in groups. 2. Make a dialogue in groups. 设计意图与分析: 1.学生在小组中相互询问周末计划为对话筹集素材,培养学生合作学习的能力。

2. 通过小组对话培养学生运用be going to do 的能力,进一步提升学生对于本课重点的理解和掌握。
