Unit5 What do they do? (Period one)

【教学目标】

1. 能听懂、会说、会读:teach、write、work、sick、people等词汇,初步掌握日常交际用语:What do they do? What does he /she do? 及回答。

2. 能整体理解语篇内容,有感情地朗读并尝试丰实文本。

3. 学会在英语交际中倾听对方,并适时表达自己的真实情感。

4. 通过语篇的学习,理解父母工作的辛苦、感恩父母。

【教学重点】

1.

掌握sick、factory、people等词汇和文本中动词第三人称单数形式的读音。

2.

掌握文本中部分句子升降调的朗读技巧和情感。

【教学过程】

Activity one:

Warming up

1.

Talk about the song. T: What’s the song about? What jobs can you hear from the song? Can you say other jobs? 2.

Talk about parents’ jobs. Activity two:Presentation and practice

Look and answer: What are they talking about? 2.
