Teaching procedures:

Step1:Greeting. Good morning,boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Step 2 : Warming-up

Game:Brain storm. T:Do you want to play games? Let’s play a game:Brain storm.If you see the bomb, say “bomb”,if you see the word, say the word loudly. Are you ready? Let’s begin.

Step 3:Create situations to present the new words and title. 1.Present the new words:e-friend,email,send,send an email What’s this?Yes. It’s Wechat.What’s this?Yes.It’s QQ.Do you have QQ or Wechat?I use QQ and Wechat.I have many friends on my QQ and Wechat.We often chat on the internet.They’re my e-friends.We often send emails.(Learn the words: e-friend,email,send, send an email)Do you have any e-friends?Who is your e-friend？Do you often send an email? Can you send an email? 2.Present the title. T:Now,more and more people have e-friends,so do they.Look,who are they?(They’re Liu Tao and Wang Bing.)Can Liu Tao play football?Can Wang Bing play computer? Look,Liu Tao asks Wang Bing to play football,but Wang Bing is busy ending an email to his e-friend. So he says “Wait a munite!”(Learn the phrase:Wait a munite!)They talk about Wang Bing’s e-friend.Today,we’ll learn Unit6 My e-friend .（Present the title of this lesson.）

Step 4 Presentation

1.Watch and find. T:First,watch the cartoon,and find what Liu Tao wants to know about Wang Bing’s e-friend.(Play the video of story time.) T:Now,please read the story again,and find the questions Liu Tao wants to know. T:Let’s check. （Stick the questions cards on the blackboard.）

2.Read and find. Students read the story by themselves and find the answers to the questions cards on the blackboards.Then ask some students to write the answers on the blackboard. （When check the answers,learn the new words and phrases:years old,eg. 5 years old，12 years old;live----lives，eg,I live in Dongxiaodian.We live in Shuyang.Where do you live?Do you live in Qianji？He lives in Qianji.Where do you live?study----studies,eg,I study English.She studies Chinese.) Students read the questions and answers together. 3.Happy reading. T: Now,it’s our reading time. First,read after the tape. Now, four in a group, choose the way you like to read. Now,show your reading.Which group wants to show? 4.Summary.

Point to the questions on the blackboard,summary how to introduce an e-friend,including name,age,country,language,subjects,hobbies etc. 5.Let’s retell.
