Unit2 My favourite season

A Let’s learn 一：教学目标

1、能听说读写四会单词：season，spring，summer，autumn，winter。

2、能初步掌握主要句型Which season do you like best? I like...best的问答，并能在具体情境中灵活运用。

3、完成Read and Match的练习。

二：教学重难点

重点：掌握四会单词season，spring，summer，autumn，winter，并能用主要句型进行对话讨论。

难点：which，spring等单词的正确发音。

教学过程

一：Warm－up

1: Greeting : T: Hello boys and girls .

Nice to meet you .

.......

2: Let’s chant ---- review some words

Brrr ! It’s cold .

It’s cold outside !

Put on your hat !

....... 2: Free talk

T: What’s the weather like today ? S: It’s warm / hot / cool...

T: Yes, it’s warm / hot / cool...

It’s spring / summer ...

T：What’s your favourite season ? 引出课题My favourite season（注意强调favourite的发音）

二：Presentation 1、spring - play a guessing game I can see many green leaves.The flowers are blooming.The weather is warm.Guess. Which season is it? (引导学生回答spring，课件展示并板书、读，注意强调“p”的发音)

2、summer - listen to the sound of a cicada (引出单词summer，并板书教学) 3、autumn - show a picture of yellow leaves. （此处学生可用已学的fall做回答，教师要告诉学生二者的区别）

4、winter - show a picture of the snow. 多种形式读本节课所学的4个有关季节的单词

三：Practise the words——play a game/let's chant/let's sing

1）Play a game --- I do the actions you guess which season is it.

2）Let's chant.

spring,spring is warm.

....... 3）Let's sing --- what's your favorite season? We can use the song to elicit the key sentences

---- Summer.I can go swimming every day.

4）Pair work

Ask and answer: ——Which season do you like best?

——Summer. I can go swimming every day. 5）Do a short passage I like fall best. It is windy and cool.

I can climb mountains and go hiking with my friends.

四：Sum up

1.Review what we have learnt today and make an assessment. 2.Use PPT to show some pictures to let students know seasons make our life colourful. We should be good at discovering the beauty in our life. 五：Homework -- Do a survey
