Teaching important points and difficult points: 一．Master phrases: go on a picnic ,a lot of /lots of ,a basket of 二．Present continuous tense. Teaching steps Step 1: Warming up Greeting each other! Step 2 : Lead in 1. Show some pictures about spring. T:Do you know what season it is from these pictures? S:It is spring. 2. Show another some pictures ,lead the new word picnic, go on a picnic.

T:When spring is coming . what do you do in spring. S:Enjoy the flowers ,fly a kite.... Step 3 : Free talk If we go on a picnic ,what do we need? Let the students discuss the question,four students in a group.lead new words :lot,a lot of/lots of,basket,a basket of,tablecloth. Step 4 : Listen and read

Play the audiotape for Let's Do It! No.1.The students listen and number each picture in order of its occurrence in the story. 2)

Work with a partner on Let's Do It! No.3.Talk about what Jenny and her family are doing in this lesson. Step 5 : Presentation Instruct the students as follows: 1)
