分析

授课对象为六十中学高一（1）班学生33人，女生16人，

男生19人。

该班学生整体外向，开朗，思维活跃。英语水平较高的学生有两三位。高一（6）班32人。女生17人，男生15人。男生总体英语水平比女生高一些。两个班级的学生词汇量普遍较少，过半的学生学习有积极性，其他同学学习有困难，用英语口头书面表达的能力更弱。学困生各一位。因此需要通过听说读写看等各种活动，培养学生各方面的能力，达到以读促写的教学目的。

1.To help the students internalize the information about spiders in the reading passage and enlarge the students’ vocabulary related to the topic.

2.To develop the students’ strategy of reading a play and to practise their reading skills. 3. To arouse the students’ awareness of understanding nature and protecting spiders. 教学

Step One Pre-reading Stage 1.

Show pictures of different kinds of spiders to arouse the students’ interest and lead in the topic, meanwhile elicit the words describing spiders. 2.

Ask some general questions about spiders. 3.

Provide True or False Questions to test the students on their knowledge of spiders, thus preparing them for reading the text: 教学

过程

Step Two:

1. Have the students skim the introduction under the title While-reading and predict what they will read in the excerpt from the play.

Stage 2. Ask the students to read the first 10 lines.

Have the students answer the teacher’s questions to check their understanding of the this part 3. Ask the students to read the rest part of the play to help the students’ understand spiders are useful creatures in many fields. 1)

Have the students read the rest part and then complete the table on the worksheet. 2) Have the students share the information they have collected and check for their understanding of the text.(orally) 4.
