Master main mistakes appearing in the paper and the methods to correct them. Teaching Difficulties: Summarize the methods to proof reading Teaching methods: Work individual, in groups Teaching process: Step 1. Lead-in 1. Ask the Ss’ some questions about the mistakes appearing in their life.

(1) Have you made any mistakes in the past three days?

(2) If so, what will you do facing the mistakes?

(3) And do you think there is a man who has never made a mistake so far?

(4) Do you consider it serious if you make a mistake?

2. Let the Ss have a discussion in pairs and draw the following conclusion: in our daily life, everyone will make a mistake, if we correct them in time, we are good fellows.

Step2. Discussion (Work in groups) Let’s correct the exercises:

2, 5,9,11,13,16,21,23,25,28 Step3.Show up

Step4.Summarize the techniques of correcting nouns, verbs and pron. Step 5. Practice (Work individuals) Step 6. Ask ss to show their answers and explain the reasons. Step7. Read the sentences aloud and remember the methods. Step8. Homework: Finish some proof reading exercise
