Story time 二、教学目标

1. 能正确的听、说、读e-friend, study, China, UK, US, Australia, Canada, Wait a minute.等词汇、句子。

2. 理解、掌握对话内容，用正确的语音语调朗读对话。

3. 正确运用一般疑问句及特殊疑问词Where, What, How old, What subjects等就某人情况提问。

4. 初步了解电子邮件的页面。

5. 能运用所学内容介绍自己的一位朋友，体会交友的乐趣。

三、教学重点

1. 能正确的听、说、读e-friend, study, China, UK, US, Australia, Canada. Wait a minute.等词汇、句子。

2. 理解、掌握对话内容，用正确的语音语调朗读对话。

四、教学难点

1. 正确读出wait a minute, send, studies, doesn’t等单词、词组。

2. 正确运用一般疑问句及特殊疑问词Where, What, How old, What subjects等就某人情况提问。

3. 能介绍自己的一位朋友，体会交友的乐趣。

五、教学准备

1. 教师准备：人物图片，多媒体课件，板书。

2. 学生准备：预习Story time. 六、教学步骤

Step 1 Warm up and lead in 1. Greetings 2. Game: Yeah, yeah, yeah! No, no, no! T: Hello, boys and girls. Are you ready for our class? Let’s play a game first.

Read the rules: When you see the sentences, read together. If it fits you, stand up and say “Yeah, yeah, yeah” loudly. But if it doesn’t fit you, just sit there and say “No, no, no” quietly. Ready? (I’m 14 years old./ I’m 11 years old./ I can speak English./ I can run quickly./ I have an animal

friend./ I can skate./ I like watching films./ I like playing the piano./ I like Maths.)

Step 2 Presentation

1. About me T: I’ve got some information about you. Do you know me well?

What’s my name?

S: … (出示老师英文名) T: Where do I live? S: Nanjing. (出示I live in Nanjing.) (教学live in) T: Do you want to know more about me? Ask me some questions. （出示表格，要求学生根据提示提问）

（学生提问时，如提出What subjects do you like? What do you like doing?等问题，教师可引导学生进一步用Do you like …?来详细问一问老师喜欢的学科和爱好，以此引导学生运用Do引导的一般疑问句。）

My e-friends T: I like surfing the Internet too. I have some e-friends. (新授e-friend\e-friends) T: Today we will learn Unit 6 My e-friend.( (出示单元标题：My e-friend) Look, they are my e-friends. (出示三位e-friends图片及相应国旗) She’s Mary. She lives in the UK.

She’s Sofia. Where does she live?

S: She lives in Canada.

T: Yes. Look at this flag. It stands for ...?(新授单词Canada，带读) Let’s read this sentence: She lives in Canada.

T: This boy is Drew. Where does he live?

S: He lives in Australia.（新授单词Australia，带读）

T: Let’s read: He lives in Australia. 3.

About an email T: They are far from me. So when I want to talk with them, what should I do? S: …

T: I have to send emails to them. (新授send an email to...)

(电子邮件提示声) T: What’s wrong? Oh, I’ve got an email. Let’s check it right now.（出示email）

T: Who sends the email?

S: Mary. T: Yes. Here it writes “From: Mary”, so Mary sends this email. Who can get the email?

S: Cecilia. T: How do you know? S: It writes “To: Cecilia”. T: Yes, it’s to me. Read the email with me, please.

(读信) T: Can you help me reply this email? But wait a minute. Do you know Wang Bing’s e-friend? So let’s know something about his e-friend first. Look at this phrase “wait a minute”. What does it mean? (给出选项：A.等一分钟。B.等一会儿。)Which one is better? S: B. (教师新授Wait a minute.并带读) Step 3 Story time 1.

Watch and answer

T: Look, Wang Bing is talking about his e-friend with Liu Tao. Let’s listen to their dialogue and answer: Who is Wang Bing’s e-friend? (看动画) S: Peter is Wang Bing’s e-friend. 2.

About Peter T: What do you want to know about Peter? Can you ask some questions? (Tips: Is …?/Can …?/Does …?/How ols …?/What …?/Where …?/What …? …?) （教师结合学生的提问，完成板书相关部分：Name, Age, Country, Language, Subject, Hobby.鼓励学生就教材上出现的Peter相关信息以外的其他信息进行提问，教师根据学生的提问，进行相关总结。）

T: I have five questions too.

Q1: Where does he live? Q2: How old is Peter? Q3: What subjects does Peter like? Q4: What does he like doing? Q5: What does Peter do after school? Read the dialogue on Page 58 and 59, underline the answers with your pencils. (学生阅读课文) T: OK, let’s check the answer.

T: So what languages can he speak?

S: He can speak Chinese and English. (板书Chinese & English) 3.

Let’s read T: Now we know so much from the dialogue. Let’s read the dialogue after the tape. (跟读课文) T: You can choose one way to read the dialogue. You have 2 minutes to practice with your partner. (Read in roles; read together; read after one)

Let’s reply T: Now you have got some information about Peter. You can reply Mary. Try to say something about Wang Bing’s e-friend. These tips may help you.
