教学目标:

1.能听懂、会说、会读单词

spring festival, mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival, the double ninth festival四个节日及12个月份,整体把月份运用于节日。

2.根据课文内容的描述,围绕四个节日,了解相关的月份和以及人们的活动。

3.能听懂、会说、会读单词:dragon boat race、rice dumplings、moon cakes in some places、climb mountains、get togther 4.掌握句型:The Spring Festival is in January or February”,并会利用其他节日名称和时间学会运用句型。

5.鼓励学生更多的去了解我国传统文化。

教学重、难点:

1.指导学生根据课文内容的描述,围绕四个节日,了解相关的月份和活动,讲述自己最喜爱的节日。

2. 通过讨论,能结合生活实际,利用所学内容谈论节日

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up Enjoy a video about festivals before class. Step 2 Free talk 1)What’s the video about?

2)What festivals do you know? Step 3 Presentation 1. T: When’s Spring Festival?

How many months are there in a year? What are they? 2. Look at the pictures and ask What else do you want to know about festivals? 3. Watch and tick. What festivals are they talking about?

Step 4 New lesson

1. Watch and match. When are the festivals? 2. Read and fill in the form.

3. Talk about the activities. A: What do people do in---? B:….

Step5 play a game

T: They’re small.They’re usually made of flour and meat. We usually eat them at the Spring Festival. What are they? S1:(手指饺子图片)

T: Right.They’re dumplings.

Ss: Dumplings. T: When do we usually eat dumplings? Ss: We usually eat dumplings at the Spring Festival. T: This food is made of rice. It’s like a cake. We usually eat this food at the Double Ninth Festival. What is it? S2: (手指重阳糕图片)
