教学目标：

1.能听懂、会说、会读单词

spring festival, mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival, the double ninth festival四个节日及12个月份，整体把月份运用于节日。

2.根据课文内容的描述，围绕四个节日，了解相关的月份和以及人们的活动。

3．能听懂、会说、会读单词:dragon boat race、rice dumplings、moon cakes in some places、climb mountains、get togther 4.掌握句型：The Spring Festival is in January or February”,并会利用其他节日名称和时间学会运用句型。

5.鼓励学生更多的去了解我国传统文化。

教学重、难点：

1.指导学生根据课文内容的描述，围绕四个节日，了解相关的月份和活动，讲述自己最喜爱的节日。

2. 通过讨论，能结合生活实际，利用所学内容谈论节日

教学过程：

Step5 play a game

T: Right.They’re dumplings.

Ss: Dumplings. T: When do we usually eat dumplings? Ss: We usually eat dumplings at the Spring Festival. T: This food is made of rice. It’s like a cake. We usually eat this food at the Double Ninth Festival. What is it? S2: （手指重阳糕图片）

2. Read the whole passage after the tape.

3. Ask Ss to read the text in different ways. 4. Retell the festivals in groups.

教学反思：在这节课上可以让学生收集一些有关中国传统节日的信息资料，这样既便于教学，又让学生多了解中国文化，同时要让孩子多说多练。孩子们对节日很感兴趣，有话说。
