Ⅰ. Teaching aims

一. Knowl edge aims

1.Ss can recognize, read, und erstand and write the new words: farmer, cook, worker, nurse, grow, etc.

2. Ss can und erstand and speak the sentence pattern correctly: What does he/she do? He /She is a …. 二. Ability aims

1. Ss can use the key words and sentences to talk about the occupation freely and correctly.

2. Ss will l earn to do surveys of family members’ occupation and share them in groups.

三. Emotion aim

Encourage Ss to set up their own ideal jobs, l ove what they do and respect other people’s work.

Step2Presentation&practice

1. Present situational acts to l ead in the teaching of the sentence :what does he/she d o? and the word“nurse”

①Act1: What d oes he d o? He is a d octor.

(叫三个学生上台情景表演上单元学过的看医生的场景see a doctor,以此来引入句型What does he do?He is a doctor.的教学,把句型卡片贴黑板,并小组间进行问答。)

②Act2: What d oes she do? She is a nurse.

播放护士打针的视频,引出新词nurse的教学(Pay attention to the l etters “ur”, it pronounc e [Ə:]. Please say after me. S: Nurse, nurse, nurse.(1 2 3… )采用大小声方式操练。男女生互问来操练新句型和新单词)

Learn the word: dancer(播放歌曲dancer,学生很容易就掌握dancer的发音和意思,dancer这首歌朗朗上口还能用于其他单词的教学中。再次呈现卡片让学生个人起来用新句型互相问答来进行句型的巩固。)

b.Ask one student to come to the blackboard to match (黑板上贴上Sally爷爷奶奶的头像和职业单词,叫一学生上台进行配对放置。)

c.Listen again and check the answers

(在核对答案的过程中进行新词farmer,cook,worker 的教学以及新句型的再次巩固学习)

Farmers work on the farm(对比教学farmer和farm。

游戏石头剪刀布操练farmer)

grow:T:What do farmer do on the farm?

They row rice/tomatoes...on the farm(动作展示grow,并用grow进行组词)

cook:What d oes Sally’s grandma do?

She is a cook.

Cooks can cook delicious food.(一个句型让学生掌握cook的两个词性:厨师和烹饪。展示同类词l ook,school 巩固oo的发音)

worker:Who d oes Sally’s grandma cook for?

She cooks for workers.(用finger game 操练单词) e. Play a game: hit the mol e(游戏当堂巩固复习所学职业单词)
