Unit 3 Visiting a Zoo Lesson 3 There Are Many Animals 第一课时（Let’s learn，work in pairs）

一，教育教学目标

（一）知识与技能目标

1，能听懂会说本课单词和词组many animals，between，beside和in front of，语音语调标准自然。

2，学习对话，能正确使用句型There are 以及between…and…，in front of…，beside等方位描述表达法

（二）过程与方法目标

1，在小组合作探究和游戏的过程中学会独立思考，合作学习。

2，学习生词的时候，巩固自然拼读法，总结发音规律。

（三）情感态度与价值观

1，在去动物园参观的时候，了解各种动物。

2，在认识动物的过程中，生起保护动物，热爱动物，动物是人类的好朋友的情感体验。

1，正确认读以及应用本课单词。

2，存在句There be…应用于名词单复数时的差异及句型总结。

3，Between…and…，beside和in front of…等方位描述表达的区别和应用。

三，教具：PPT，录音。

四，教学过程

（一）导—导入新课，明确目标

先用图片带同学们到动物园参观

T：Boys and girls.Let's go to the zoo,OK?

S：OK！

T：There are many animals in the zoo. Let's have a look .

S：great！

T：First,we can see some monkeys.Next,we can see some elephants and tigers.Then,there are some giraffes.Oh look,there is a bear.How big.Wow,There are some tortoises.……引出本课的学习

然后在PPT上面说明本节课的学习目标。

（二）探—自主学习，合作探究

1，Look at the new words,find out the meanings.（Let’s learn）

理解其中的意思，了解对应的方位。

2，Look at this pictures,find out what are they? （work in pairs）

说明每幅图，都有什么？

（三）拨—精讲点拨，互动释疑

1，出示一张有很多动物的图片，让学生理解很多动物的意思。

在PPT上画上四线三格，然后展示要学的单词many animals

先听单词录音，再结合自然拼读法教授学生词组的读法和拼法。

在结合句型There are many animals.让学生感知句型

2，依次根据课件PPT教授新单词between…and…，in front of…

beside和There be句型（注意between要做个对比，一个there is一个there are）

3，Summary：

单数：There is +a/an +名词单数

There is

a panda. 复数：There are +some/many/数量+名词复数

There are some dogs. There are five dogs.

4,在介绍方位的时候名词前面加the

（四）练—巩固练习，归纳升华

1，运用动物图片（单数和复数，对比展示）来练习句型。There is和There are 2，用填空题（填is或者are）

There _____ a cat. There _____ three dogs. There _____ four elephants. There _____ an apple. There _____ some flowers. There _____ a goldfish. There _____ many birds.

3，在PPT上用刚刚练习的单复数图片和句子来进行连线配对

4，展示bus上有3只birds 和ship旁边有很多fish的图片，让学生用学过的方位词分组进行Look and say练习

5，Missing pictures

在PPT上同时展示6张动物图片，让学生观察相互的位置和数量。然后让其中一张图片消失。分组问学生Where are they？消失的图片原来的相对位置（用学过的知识回答）。

（五）延—拓展延伸，成果分享

1，介绍与in front of 相对应的方位词

behind

找cats的图片和dogs的图片各一张，把cats放在dogs的前面。

T:There are many dogs.

S:Where are they?

T:They are behind the cats. 2,其他学过的方位介词：in ,on, next to, under
