教学内容：PEP五年级下册Unit4 When is Easter?C Story time 教学目标：1.能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解故事内容；

2.能够朗读并表演故事；

3.能够在语境中恰当运用故事中的语言；

4.能在故事语境中了解英语谚语

“Practice makes perfect.”的深刻含义。

教学过程：

Step1 Warm-up 1.

Greetings. Good afternoon，boys and girls!How are you?It’s time for English class.Are you ready? 2.

Free talk. When is Easter? When is your birthday? (复习月份的表达）

Step2 Prensentation 1.

First let’s meet a friend.Look at Zoom.Can you say something about Zoom? What’he like?What can he do?What class does he usually do after school? （引入主人公Zoom，谈论Zoom的性格爱好，猜想Zoom的日常生活，复习旧知，激发学生英语思维。）

2.Look at the picture. What do you see?Where are they?What are they doing?Who is the teacher? (认识故事中的主要角色，呈现故事场景一：教室）

They will have a singing test.Guess:When is the singsing test?What does Zoom say?Listen and answer. (以听的方式完整呈现文本内容，回答较简单的问题。）

Let’s watch the cartoon1.

Can Zoom sing well at first? What does Zip say? (观看视频1，观察Zoom的表情，猜想他的心情，模仿Zoom和Zip的对话，对图1小整体感知）

May Day is coming！What will Zoom do over the holiday? (联系学生自身，猜想Zoom会怎样度过五一假期，目的：引出故事情景二：假期中的Zoom做了什么事。）

6.Read and match. What will they do on the holiday?Did Zoom go with them?Why？

（阅读故事文本，找出Zip、Rabbit、Cat在假期中的活动) 7.Watch the cartoon2 and answer the question.Why don't Zoom go with them? (引导学生发现Zoom不受外界干扰，专心练歌的决心。）

8.Holiday is over.The singsing test begins.Can Zoom sing well at last? （故事结局：Zoom拒绝干扰，专心练习，得到了老师的称赞。点明故事主旨：孰能生巧）

Step4 Consolidation 1.

Retell the story and finish the passage. 2.

Mother's Day is coming!What will you do for your mum? Can you sing a song for your mum? Can you cook noodles for your mum? Can you help your mum do housework or wash her feet?
