Step1. Pre-reading. 1.

Free talk. T: Class begins. Ss: Stand up. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Han. T: Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you too. 2.

Game time. (1). I draw and you guess. I will draw some pictures and you can guess what I draw. (2). Chant time Bus, bus, on the street, Di Di, Di Di. Plane, plane, on the air, Wu Wu, Wu Wu. Step2. While-reading 1.

Free talk. T: Look at the blackboard and do you know who they are.

Ss: They are Mike, Su Hai, Yang Ling and Liu Tao. T: Great. 2.

Listen to the tape and try to find out the answers of the following question. Q1: Where does they live? (Review the knowledge of the Unit1 Grammar Time) 3.

Read the dialogue by yourself and try to find out the following question. Q: How do they go to school? ( To make students understand the sentence pattern, I will make a free talk) T: I live in the school. I go to school on foot. So how do you go to school? (I also show the title of Unit2) 4.

Listen to the tape again and try to make a map of where they live. (To make students understand the whole article more clearly) 5.

Read after the tape twice. 6.

Read after me sentence by sentence. Step3. Post-reading. 1.

Finish the exercises on Page 18. Step4. Homework.

Write down the whole dialogue on the exercise book. 2.

Read after the tape for three times. Step5. Blackboard.
