本课是外研社一年级起点第二册第九模块的第一单元。本课的教学重点是学习运动类的单词并能用英文句子说明自己的喜好。由于涉及到了运动,可以创设相关的情境如运动会等,再引入新知的学习,能够提高孩子的学习兴趣。本单元单词的读音不难掌握,但其意义的区分是难点,应设置一些有趣的操练活动帮助孩子记忆。本单元的重点句型为:I like……

结构较简单,对学生来说不难掌握,可在前面的单词学习中就进行结合练习,做到词不离句。

Step2:Group devision Step3:Lead-in & Presentation 1、Present a picture of the sports meeting on ppt. T: Just now I got a piece of news. There will be a sports meeting in the forest. Many animals will come to join in this sports meeting. And now there are four animals who will come to sign up for the sports. Who are they? Let’s have a look. 2、Present the pictures of four animals: giraffe,elephant,panda,duck. T:Look! Who are they? So what kind of sports will they sign up? Now let’s see. 3、Present the picture of a giraffe on ppt. Then play the tape of its word: Hello, I’m giraffe. I like basketball.(Present the sentence on ppt.) T: What is basketball? 4、Present the picture of a basketball which is covered

by a small circle on ppt.

T: Now look! What is “basketball”? 5、Present and teach the word“basketball”. T: Alright, the giraffe wants to sign up for the basketball, right? Why? Yes, because it likes the basketball. So it says,“I like basketball.”

6、Teach students to read the sentence“I like basketball.”(with action) 7、The teaching way of the words: (football, ping-pong, swimming)are the same as before. 8、After learning all of the words, teacher gets students to review and read them together.
