Lesson 2 教案

1. Teaching objectives

After learning this lesson, students can

1) have a deep impression on words learned last class including “grandpa (grandfather), grandma (grandmother), cousin, cousin”. 2) understand the meaning of “It’s time for bed.”

“Good night.” and use them in real situation. 3) use the sentence “What is it?” to ask an item and use “It’s a/an ...” to answer the question. 2. Key and Difficult points Key points: 1) The new words in this lesson.

2) The understanding of the whole dialog. Difficult points: The pronunciation of “It’s time for bed.” and “All right.” and understanding of their meanings. 3. Teaching Procedures Step 1 Warm-up 1) Routine greeting

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

S: Good morning.

T: How are you?

S: I’m fine. Thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. Thanks.

2) Boom game It’s a game about words. If students see a picture, they should say the word out. If they see a bomb, they should say “boom” and put hands on their ears. Step 2 Presentation 1) Watch and Choose the answer

Students watch the video about the dialog and answer three questions.

①What did they say before they go to sleep? (Good night.) ②What does Hao Tian want to sleep with? (A cat.) ③Does grandma agree with him? (No, she doesn’t.) 2) Listen and circle

Students listen to the text. At the same time, students circle the words they don’t know. After this, students raise their questions. 3) Look and match Tips:①

Help each other to solve the words you circle. ②

Finish the task in your group. 睡觉的时候到了。

4) Let’s read with expression

Teacher teaches the tone of main sentences in this dialog.

5) Let’s read after the tape Tips: Read loudly and emotionally. Step 3 Practice

1) Read in groups and help each other to correct their pronunciations.
