本单元的主题是:Happy Children’s Day 由于这单元中的动词原形swim,run,walk,eat,listen,talk,Jump,drink都已接触,能读理解单词意思了。Children’s Day 也是学生喜爱的节日,享受过自己过的节日的一些活动,应该是有话可言的。句型What …doing…?在第二单元programmes中接触过What are you doing?
I’m ….的学习经历中接触过,为了遵循“语境、语篇带动词句学习”的教学规律,将围绕单元主题,合理设计课时话题,再构文本,成为有意义的段落,通过语篇教学,来凸现语言的系统功能。我们对不同板块进行了不同的处理:
第一课时为Wonderland,以Happy Children’s Day为话题,本单元重点是词汇:swimming, running, walking, eating, listening, drinking, talking的理解与运用。了解和练习动词现在分词的变化规则。再通过学生生活情境的介绍,尝试用现在进行时的句型操练运用。通过主句型What are they doing?They are...的融合,熟悉be+现在分词的现在进行时用法。
在第二课时Farmland的教学中,通过运用句型What are they doing?
They are… Are they having fun? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.来运用现在分词,并运用这些句型来介绍学校的某个场景,突出动作的进行状态中,体会正在做这些动作的愉快心情。
Grand Theatre为第三课时的主要教学内容,以Happy Children’s Day为话题,介绍了同学们在儿童节的快乐一天。用新闻播报的形式进行情景再现。教师可以结合班级情况,选择某一个同学们感兴趣的节日或场景,用现场采访或新闻直播的形式,引发学生的好奇心,从而激发学生的学习积极性。再次复习运用本单元的重点时态---现在进行时,在此基础上让学生体会How happy they are!同时让学生介绍自己过的六一活动项目,感受到校园生活及童年的happy和fun。
教材分析
学生们好动,所以可以根据所做的动作引出Wonderland中的单词,在Grand Theatre的教学过程中加以运用。结合实际情况用Farmland中的句型,在理解的基础上加以运用。例:What are they doing? They are…还可以结合学过的动词进行拓展练习。在教学课文时,为了让学生的语用能力得到提高,可以多创设情境,如节日里发生的事情,来加以巩固所学的知识。Music box是Grand theatre的同步练习,所以应该结合在一起教学。本单元Playland的儿歌,只要求学生理解会读,以提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

通过图片引出walking的教学,再由walking引出后面整体文本的展现。
整体输入,让学生初步感知文本。
让学生带着问题去听文本,认真听的同时能初步理解文本的内容。
进一步通过听让学生理解感知文本。
让学生再听完录音以后回答问题,培养他们听的能力的同时引出新单词singing,dancing和listening 的教学。
利用时间的概念来引出中午这个时间。为下面学生

通过对话的练习,提高学生语用对话能力。
通过让学生观察图片,猜测Tom和Sue可能在做什么以及他们可能在讨论什么话题,引起学生注意的同时锻炼他们说的能力。

以日记的形式对Children’s Day这一天里的活动进行总结,再一次整体输入文本,让学生进一步感知并理解文本。
根据图片以及文字的提示对整个故事进行复述,帮助学生巩固核心词汇的同时达到语言的输出。
