While-task procedures 在黑板上写下“170”,让学生用英文快速读出数字。根据学生的回答引出句型:I 170 centimetres tall. How tall are you ? T: (write 170 on the blackboard ) What number is it ? S1: It’s one hundred and seventy. T: One hundred and seventy . I am one hundred and seventy centimeters tall (show your height and writh centimeter on the blackboard.) 请学生跟读centimetre ,然后请学生说出自己的身高。

T:How tall are you? S1: I am one hundred and fifty-nine centimeters tall. T:

How tall are you ? S2: I am one hundred and sixty-two centimeters tall. 教师顺着上述活动中最近一个学生话语引出句型:I am fifty-nine kilograms .How much do you weigh?

T: I know you are one hundred and sixty-two centimeters tall. But how tall am I ? Do you remember? S1:You are one hundred and seventy centimeters tall.

T: That’s right. And I weigh fifty-nien kilograms. (write kilogram and weigh on the black board) 请学生跟读kilogram, 然后请学生说出自己的体重。

教师读出反馈练习中的句子,请学生快速判断所描述的是Joe还是Georger 的角色,有感情地朗读对话。教师在教室内来回巡视,如果学生有困难,及时给予帮助。

前置性作业: listen to the tape Pre-task preparations. 小组比赛。把全班同学分成两大组,快速出示千以内的数字给第一组的学生看(第二组的学生不能看),请第一组中的一个学生用英文大声读出这个数字,再请第二组中的一个学生在黑板上用阿拉伯数字写出这个数字,如果两个学生都对,每组各得一分,如果错,不得分,

最后,哪个小组得分多就胜出。

T:(show the number 198 to Group 1)What number is it ? S 1: (form Group 1) It’s one hundred and ninety-eight. (S2 from Group 2 writes 198 on the blackboard.) 2.请一个学生介绍自己和家人的身高体重,然后教师询问其他学生善于这个学生的身高、体重的情况。

T: How much does he weigh? S3: He weighs 72 kilograms. While-task procedures 1.请两个学生先表演Listen and say 中的对话。然后出示Look and read 的图片,教师提问引出:Look and read 的学习内容。

T:Joe ,where do you live ? Joe:I live in the city. T: Do you like living in the city ? Joe : Yes, I do , it’s very beautiful. T : Can you show us a picture of your city? Joe: Yes, this is the picture of my city . (point to the corresponding pictures.) 然后教师根据图片说出文字内容,在复习句型:there be 句型的同时,在黑板上板书新词:theatre.

用同样的方法教学Look and read 中的第二段内容。根据实际情况,也可让学生自己阅读,然后教师用提问的方式教学。

请学生跟读新词,教师视其具体情况提问:

T: What do people do in a theatre? S1: People see films in a treatre. S2: People watch plays and shows in a theatre. T: Is there a theatre near your home ? S3: Yes, there is .

T: Do you often go to the theatre? S3: I sometimes go to the theatre with my parents. 出示Look and read 的图上,播放录,学生边听边看图片,并根据录音内容指出相应场所。再次播放录音,学生逐句跟读。鼓励学生尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。然后让学生两人一组分别描述反馈练习中的善于城市和农村的图片。鼓励学生以对比的方式描述城乡差异。

S1: There are a lot of tall buildings in the city. S2: There are some houses with yards in the countryside. 请每对同桌分别选择扮演Joe和George 的角色,介绍保息的居住地,教师在教学内来回巡视,如果学生有困难,及时给予帮助。

Post-task activities. 让学生两人一组介绍自己居住的地方,要求学生用there be 句型讲述自己居住的地方有哪些

场所及人们在这些场所做哪些事情。
