本课是第一单元Li Ming comes to Canada的最后一课，前五课已经掌握了bedroom、bathroom、教材分析

kitchen、living room等房间以及房间里的几种常见物品。本节课第一部分是谈论living room里摆放的一些常见物品，如chair、TV、table、flowers等，这些词汇学生都已学过，只有一个生词couch，第二部分描述living room里每个人在做什么事。现在进行时以及图中人物的动作如watch TV、read the newspaper等都已学过，所以重点是阅读理解和模仿复述。

学情分析

六年级上学期的学生，由活泼爱动，喜欢做课堂游戏，逐渐转为喜欢沉稳的课堂环境，课堂上表现开始向思考型转变。他们会主动思考老师提出的问题，他们渴望听到老师赞许的语言，渴望看到老师肯定的目光。

知识目标：

1）掌握字母组合ou在单词中[au]的发音。

2）练习使用现在进行时描述人们在干什么。

技能目标：

1）明白couch的词意，并能达到听懂、会说。

2）能认知客厅里摆放的部分物品。

3）能根据图片读懂课文中的小短文。

4）能模仿短文对图片进行描述。

对本节课基本满意，在学生用进行时的句子介绍家庭成员时，看着每一张照片，听着每一句正确的句子，很有成功感。大部分学生能够达到老师的要求，个别孩子需要课下再认真练习。当然，还有一些不很尽人意的地方，学生的介绍比较死板，没有创新，说明孩子们还是没有做到灵活运用，应该再加深练习，使学生达到运用自如。
