教学内容分析

本课是Module 6的第二篇课文，主要学习有关路线的描述用语，Unit11 已初步学习了turn right, turn left,go straight ahead等用语。学生对问路用语有了初步的了解。本课篇幅较长，通过到达电影院的两条不同路线的描述，学习take the first/second right,short cut ,walk throught等用语，教师应引导学生应对课文进行分层学习，层层引导，让学生能正确说出描述两种路线的英文表达。

教学目标

1、语言知识：

1）Vocabulary词汇：short cut, were, stand, watch, late,

out of, take(took), take the first right, through, suddenly, believe，on time, did 2）Sentences 句型：

We need…minutes to get there. Turn left out of their house .Take the first right. Go straight ahead and take the second left.Walk through the park. 2、语言技能：

1）掌握本模块句型和交际用语；

2）能简单进行问路、描述线路. 3、情感态度：

通过对课文的学习，培养学生日常生活中能讲文明，讲礼貌。

4、学习策略：

1）将语言知识尽可能运用于真实情景当中。

2)通过小组合作完成学习任务。

5、教学重、难点：

1）掌握本模块描述线路的用语：

Take the first/second right. 第二个路口处右转。

Cross the main street. 横穿过主街。

Walk through …步行穿过…

2)short cut 的理解与应用

Warming up: 1.Sing a song “Try everything”

2.brainstorm.(复习有关地点的词) 3. listen and find(听路线辩地点,) 4.看地点描述路线

二．Presentation and practise

1.通过图引出John and Joan所要做的事

Look at the picture, what did John do this morning.

They went to see a film.(ppt的图)

The film starts in 10 minutes.

2.How long do they usually need to get the cinema?(带着问题听VCD，找出答案)

3. They took a different way to get to the cinema. which is the different way? 带着问题听VCD，看图选出答案.并通过图理解学习short cut 4 .呈现John 往常去电影院的路线图引出学习下列句子. Take the first right. Take the second left. 5.通过图对比理解：

turn right at the first crossing = take the first right turn left at the second crossing=take the second left 6.操练：看图说出去某地的路线，

7.呈现图理解并学习short cut 路线，学习下列用语

First, crossed the main street and turn left into the park, then walked through the park. Suddenly they were in front of the cinema. 8.操练：看图说出去某地的两种路线

9.通过图John 按时到达cinema学习on time,理解believe一词。

10. 表格呈现两种路线，让学生发现动词形式的不同之处。

11.小组朗读课文。

三．Development 按本课所学知识进行实际运用，创设情景编写对话。

四．Homework. 1、听录音并熟读课文。2、画一地图，仿照课文描述一个地方的路线。
