Unit3 Is It Snowing?

I.教学内容

本节课选自陕旅版小学英语四年级下册Unit3 Is It Snowing?第二课时，课本第19页。本节课的课型为会话课。

II.教材分析

本单元以日常生活中人们常谈及的天气为主要内容，以Unit 2 I’m Cooking in the Kitchen.中所学的现在进行时态为基础，通过对rain, cloud, wind, sky, raincoat, glasses以及功能句look at the clouds in the sky. Is it snowing? Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. But there is no wind.的学习，使学生能够在相应的语境中准确的描述天气。从而熟练掌握现在进行时态的用法。

III.学情分析

四年级学生有一定的语言基础，但词汇和句型量有限，不能灵活的运用和表达自己的想法。需教师创设情境，不断地引导，鼓励他们开口说英语。

IV.教学目标

1.知识目标:

能熟练掌握功能句：

（1）Look at the clouds in the sky.

（2）-Is it snowing? -Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.

（3）-Is there a wind? -No, there is no wind.

2.能力目标：能运用所学的词汇和句型准确地描述天气。

3.情感目标：鼓励学生大胆的开口说英语，学唱英文儿歌。培养学生学习英语的兴趣，

使学生更加自信。

V.教学重难点

1.重点：学生能在学习过程中，理解运用Look at the clouds in the sky. Is it snowing? -Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. Is there a wind? No，there is no wind.准确的描述天气。

2.难点：学生能通过学习掌握现在进行时态的用法。

VI.教学策略

为了突破这堂课的重难点，教法上主要采用情景教学法，儿歌说唱法来激发和引导学生进行表达和交流。学法主要以小组合作法，模仿表演来培养学生的学习兴趣和自信。同时以多媒体，简笔画等教学手段，使教学更加简单明了，有吸引力，从而是学生正确规范地运用英语，共同合作完成任务，感受英语的语言魅力。

VII.教学过程

Step 1 Leading in

Free talk

Look at the sky and answer the questions：

Are there many clouds in the sky?

Is there a wind?

Is it raining？

Is it snowing?

设计意图：通过谈论当天的天气，引导学生运用学过的功能句大胆的和老师交流，培养学生运用语言的能力，将学生带入一个轻松愉快地英语氛围。

Step 2 Presentation

1. look at picture and answer the questions：

Are there many clouds in the sky?

Is there a wind?

Is it raining？

Is it snowing?

设计意图:通过图片创设情境，引导学生回答问题，帮助学生理解本课的重点句型，为下一个环节的听对话回答问题打下基础做好铺垫。

2. Listen and answer the questions：

（1）Have the students close their eyes, listen to the tape carefully and answer the first question.

Q1：Are there many clouds in the sky?

教师引导学生回答: Yes, there are.

教师出示Part1图片: Yes，Look at the clouds in the sky, there are many clouds in the sky.

和学生一起谈论Part1的图片，并指导学生读对话。

（2）Have the students close their eyes, listen to the tape again and answer the second question:

Q2：Is it snowing?

教师引导学生回答：

Yes ,it is .

教师出示Part2图片并陈述：Yes, it’s snowing. Look, how beautiful!

和学生一起谈论Part2的图片，并指导学生读对话。

（3）Have the students close their eyes, listen to the tape again and answer the third question.

Q3：Is there a wind?

教师引导学生回答：No. there isn’t.

教师出示Part3图片并陈述：No, it’s snowing. But there is no wind.

和学生一起谈论Part3的图片，并指导学生读对话。

3.Read the dialogue

（1）Read after the tape.

（2）Read by themselves.

设计意图：通过听力时学生感受标准的语音语调。通过问题的设计使学生明确听得目的。了解对话的内容，通过教师的陈述和谈论图片使学生充分理解对话。达到能理解会读的目标。

Step 3 Practice

1.Read the dialogue

（1）Read the dialogue together.

（2）Ask one student to read.

（3）Read the dialogue in a group.

（4）Act the dialogue in three students.

设计意图：通过齐读、自读、分角色读的方式使学生充分读会对话。通过小组表演输出，检查学生的掌握情况，同时给学生创造机会上台表演。培养学生的学习兴趣和运用语言的能力，增强学生的自信。

Step 4 Summary

教师和学生一起改编歌词，并用学生熟悉的“两只老虎”唱出来。

设计意图：通过一首学生熟悉的歌曲来结束本节课，使学生能熟练运用现在进行时态。培养学生的学习兴趣和运用语言的能力。

Step 5 Homework

1. Oral work,熟读并背诵课本第19页对话。

2. Written work,根据当天的天气完成对话。
