U nit 6 Meet my family Part B let’s learn Teaching process

(First Period)

Ⅰ.Textbook analysis

This period teaching is designed based on part B “Let’s learn ”, Unit 6 Book A Grade Four, primary school English PEP.

The teacher will adopt the methods of situational teaching and Task-based teaching during the teaching process according to the kids’ characters of ages and ability of acceptance. New words should be showed in proper language situation and vi sual sense. The part of“Let’s play”should be practiced by most of the students, combining with the language structure of the students learned, dynamic rhythm and games, based on the new words grasped. Then, the new language points will be consolidated and language frame will be acquired.

Ⅱ.Learning situation analysis

The students’age of Grade Four ranges from 10 to 11,they are lively and active naturally, like intuitive image thinking. They are rather interested in games, contest and so on. And the kids have learned English for one and a half years, they have basic listening ability. Furthermore, the students will contact a lot new words in part B, unit 6. I believe it must mobilize students to learn English actively.

1. Focus points :

(1)Be able to listen, speak and read: doctor, cook, farmer, driver ,nurse, and can be used in the real situation.

(2)Be able to introduce the jobs.

2. Difficult points :

(1)Correct pronunciation of the following words: doctor、cook, nurse.

1.Teacher class before the preparation of multimedia courseware.

2.Teachers prepare the class related words and pictures.
