设计意图

Step1 lead-in

Students enjoy a piece of music and talk about their feeling

Let them realize music has no boundary. Step2 Ask some students to talk about their favourite music and describe the music.

Students talk about the same topic in groups. Step3 Students read the email and answer the questions on the screen. Step4 Students make a discussion about when and how their classmates listen to music. Step5 Students do some writing practice and show their work （one student is invited to show hers on the blackboard and others will check hers together）. Write about the advantages of music
