Unit 3 What would you like?

Part A let’s learn 教学目标:学生能够流利地听、说、读、写单词“hamburger”、“salad”、“tea”、”sandwich”以及询问他人想要吃什么、喝什么。

教学重点:“hamburger”、“salad”、“tea”、”sandwich”、“ice cream”的发音及书写。

教学难点:正确运用句型:“what would you like to eat?””what would you like to drink?”

Step 1: preparation(3mins)

Free talk: let Ss talk about the words of food we have learned before.(bread、egg、rice 、fish、noodles、apple、pear、orange、cake、juice、water、milk)

Step 2:presentation(17mins)

1.lead in:

Show Ss a picture of restaurant and tell them this is my new restaurant, now I want to advertise for a waiter or waitress.(show a picture of waiter or waitress)Do you want to try?

2.At first put the key sentence on the PPT “what would you like to eat?” then show the picture of “hamburger” and teach new word by sentence “I’d like …”Using phonics. Teaching new words “salad”、”sandwich” in the same way. After that, let Ss to ask others one by one by using sentence “what would you like to eat?”“I d like…”

talk with Ss ,Boys and girls, now you have many food to

eat , Do you want something to drink? (配上喝的动作)Ss will answer “yes” then teacher ask again “what would you like to drink?”and show a picture of “tea”to teach new word. Lead Ss to answer it in “I d like some…”After that, let Ss to ask others one by one by using sentence “what would you like to drink?”“I d like some …”(milk、juice、water…) 3.Quick response:

Put word cards on the blackboard (including all the words we have learned about food) ,each group have a volunteer to play this game, teacher read a word ,then volunteers need to pat the word card as quickly as possible, the fastest one can get 1 point for his group.

Step 3: practice(pair work) 5mins

Ask your classmate “what would you like to eat?”“what would you like to drink?”by using a order machine.

Step4 :product(模拟点餐) 10mins

5-6 Ss as a group, one is waiter or waitress, others are customers to take order. Before it teacher will Ss a video as an example. Then invite 2-3groups to show it in the stage and choose a best waiter or waitress with a contract.

Step5:progress(5mins)

Let Ss do a summary and finish some exercises.
