Lesson 10 : How Many Are There ? 教学设计

教材依据：

本课是冀教版小学六年级英语上册Unit 2中的Lesson 10 How many are there? 本课主要讲名词单复数变形，内容看似简单，但涉及语法现象，隐藏的知识点还真不少。

设计思路

1.指导思想：

《小学英语新课程标准》提出基础教育阶段英语课程的任务即：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，发展学生自主学习的能力与合作精神，使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能。本课教学前，我设置了四个小房子，通过PPT展示图片，把单词的单复形式填入不同的房子中，让学生自己发现可数名词变复数的规律，在情景教学中渗透任务型教学，避免枯燥无味的讲语法。

六年级的学生已经养成了自主预习的习惯，并掌握了一些简单的交际用语，通过合作探究的方式，引导学生解决问题，感知成功，从而树立自信。

2.教学目标：

（1）知识技能：学生能够理解名词的复数并能灵活掌握和运用规则名词和不规则名词的复数形式。 （2）过程与方法：利用报数引入新课，出示图片引导学生说出可数名词的单数与复数，填写在不同的小房子中，引导学生观察，合作探究，总结名词变复数的规则，避免语法学习的枯燥。

（3）情感态度：通过游戏的引入，激发学生的英语学习兴趣。

3.教学重难点：

重点：学生能够掌握不规则名词的复数形式。

难点：

学生能够掌握和灵活运用名词的复数。

4.教具准备：PPT、彩色粉笔

5.教学课时：一课时

6.教学过程：

I. Class opening (1）Greeting. T: Good afternoon, class! Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Li! (2）Warming-up T: look out of the window. How’s the weather today? Ss: It’s cold. T: Let’s do warming-up. “Head Shoulders Knees and toes” II.

Lead-in

T: let’s call numbers one by one. Ss: one 、 two、 three……twenty-three T:How many students are there in our class? Ss: There are 23 students in our class T: This class , we will learn 《lesson 10 How Many Are There》

（设计意图：利用报数的方式，一方面查看学生是否缺席，另一

方面利用How many句型引出课题。）

III. Present and practice. （1） PPT出示图片 What is this ? (铅笔,苹果数量由一个变多个) What are these ? 从而引出规则单词变复数的形式，填入相对应的房子中(pencils 、 apples)。

（2）依次引出其它单词的单复数形式，填入相应房子中。buses、

boxes、 potatoes 、tomatoes、photos （引出 men 、 children、 women） man ---men woman --- women child --- children （3）Discuss and find. (设计意图：引导学生发现名词变复数的变法规则，突破本课重难点。) （4）Sum up（小结名词变复数规律）

规则1：名词后直接加s 例如: book-books bag-bags cat-cats bed-beds 规则2：以s,x,ch,sh结尾的单词后加es 例如: bus--buses box--boxes dish—dishes 规则3：以“o”加es或s 例如 tomato-tomatoes potato-potatoes photo-photos 特殊变化：man-men woman-women policeman（男警察）-policemen child（孩子）-children

Practice 找出下列句子中错误的部分并改正。

I have three pencil. She eats a bananas. We see six monkey in the zoo. There are twenty desk in the classroom. My mother buys two skirt for me. There are many bus in the city. The woman are in the shop. I see five girl are dancing. 仿照例子写句子。

例：This is a bus.----These are buses. This is a apple. This is a dish. This is a man. This is a woman. This is a kitchen. IV.Consolidate and extend
