The teacher prepares a pen, a ruler, a bag, a cup, an apple, a book and other things for today's guessing game.Play a guessing game using the following sentences：

(1)People often lose things when they're travelling or when they're in a hurry. ① lose 及物动词，意为“丢失，失去”，其过去式和过去分词均为lost。常用搭配：lose

one's life丢掉某人的生命；lose job 失业。

when 意为“当……时候”，引导时间状语从句。例：I often help my brother do his homework when I'm at home.我在家的时候，常常帮助我弟弟做家庭作业。

③ in a hurry 意为“匆匆忙忙”。在此短语中hurry为名词。例：She often goes to school in a hurry.她经常匆匆忙忙地去上学。

(2)That's why there are lost and found offices at airports and stations. That's why...意为“那就是……的原因”。此处why引导表语从句。例：They lost their money, and that's why they are sad.他们把钱丢了，那就是他们伤心的原因。
