一.教学目标：

复习巩固动词“be”一般过去时的肯定句、否定句和疑问句；

通过复习巩固本模块重点单词和短语：

本单元通过“be”动词一般过去式的复习，让学生懂得如何描述自己和他人的过去的经历，学生在巩固所学知识的同时增进了同学之间的相互了解，提高交际能力。

二、教材分析

本模块以My past life为题材，要求学生掌握含有动词be的过去式

（was / were）的一般过去时的句子，而且能用此谈论自己和别人的过去生活和经历。

本模块的主要语法是含有动词be的过去式

（was / were）的一般过去时，通过前两个单元的学习，学生对于一般过去时有所了解，本单元侧重听说读写全面发展，让学生充分掌握be(was/were)的使用。

教学方法：

讨论法，任务型教学法。本课主要是复习所学Was/Were的用法及学会使用一般过去时的句子，以说为主要教学方式，让学生开口说，通过小组合作及同桌间的讨论，学会并掌握本课重点。

重点和难点：

根据初中英语课程标准要求学生通过学习逐步掌握英语知识和技能，提高语言实际运用能力；拓展视野，形成正确的情感态度和价值观。结合教材自身特点和教学目标，本课的教学重难点定义为：

1.掌握本模块重点单词和短语

2.让学生能运用一般过去时来描述自己和他人的过去生活，从而让学生掌握一般现在时和一般过去时的使用。
