教学内容 译林版《英语》五年级下册 Unit 4 Seeing the doctor

(story time) 教材简述:

本课由两个场景构成。场景一呈现了Su Hai 发烧了去看医生的情景,场景二呈现了Mike牙痛去看牙医的情景。两组对话的主要内容是如何简单描述病情和提供建议。

学情分析:

经过两年的英语学习,他们已经形成了一些英语学习的方法和习惯,本课的话题看病,但在

四年级下册Unit7(what’s thematter?)中已经学过表示对他人关心的句型What’s thematter?和表达感觉和感受的形容词hungry,ill,sad,thirsty,tired.在四年级下册Unit8(How are you?)中已经学过疾病类词汇cold,cough,fever,headache.教师可以用以旧引新的方式,进入本课的话题、词汇和句型。

教学目标:

知识目标:

1. 在整体理解的基础上听懂、会说、会读故事中出现的词汇: check, dentist, anything, bedtime, brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine, fever, headache, toothache. 2. 在模拟情境中使用就诊用语: What’s wrong with...? ... have/has a .... What should ...do? … should/shouldn’t…

3. 理解故事内容,能流利地朗读并在教师的引导和帮助下初步表演课文内容。

1. 能够熟练运用就诊用语: What’s wrong with...? ... have/has a .... Why does/do ...have a...? 2.能够运用所学知识提出更多的给予病人的建议: …should/shouldn’t…

教学难点: 1. 用所学句型连贯地表达就诊用语与提出建议。

2. 语法难点:What’s wrong with + 宾格? He/She should/shouldn’t...+ 动词原形的表达。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up 1.

Free talk 2.

Brain storming 相机学习have a rest take some medicine 3.

If we are ill ,how do you feel? What should we do?

Step 2 Presentation of the story. 1.

If we are ill, we should go to see the doctor. Today we will learn Unit4. 2.

What do you want to know from the title?

引导 Who? Why? How? 3. look and say : who are seeing the doctor?

4. Look and guess What’s wrong with them? Maybe he/she has …

5.watch and answer what is wrong with them? Step 3 Learning of Part 1 1.read and finish the medical record card 2. read the Part1 3 ask and and answer in pairs 4 let’s find find out what the doctor says and how Su Hai’s answers 5. Sum up the language of seeing a doctor and checking. (根据板书总结部分就诊用语)

Step 4 Learning of Part 2 1. Lead in. T: I hope Su Hai will be better soon. What about Mike? He has a toothache. He should go to see the doctor or dentist? (teach “dentist”)

2. Read Part 2 , try to be dentists, finish Mike’s medical record card in pairs. (引导学生看病历卡,理解新词汇disease, cause, advice, vegetable及语言信息)
