1. 学生能整体感知、理解、朗读对话,并尝试表演和复述。

2. 学生能在故事情景中学会运用句型：When’s your birthday? What do you usually do on your birthday? How do you feel?等询问他人的生日信息。

3.学生能在情境中正确朗读和表达生日的日期和活动，并能初步地围绕生日这一话题进行生动、丰富地语段表达。

4. 通过对比文本中苏海和麦克的生日，以及世界各国生日文化欣赏，学生初步了解中西方文化的差异与融通,并初步形成跨文化意识。

二、教学重点：

1. 学生能理解、朗读对话，并根据对话内容进行表演和复述。

2.通过文本的学习，学生能进一步发展提问能力与语段的表达能力。

三、教学难点：

学生在表演、对话、复述中形成话题表达的丰富性、条理性、完整性。
