一、准备:

学情分析:六年级的学生好动,好奇,好玩,在这个阶段学生们已经积累了一定的词汇,有了一定的语言基础。具备了一定的语法知识,能够运用所习得的语言表达自己的思想感情。同时还能丰富自己的语言。拓展自己的思维。因此结合五月的劳动节,母亲节,六月的儿童节,父亲节巧设情境,给学生提供大量的语言支架,让学生充分的听说读写,达到使用语言运用语言的目的。

教材分析:新版小学英语六年级上册的第四单元第23课是本单元的最后一课,话题内容是关于能够运用目标语言进行交流,此目标语言为:May Day/Labour

Day. Mother’s Day. June1st. Children’s Day. Father’s Day. May is the fifth month of the year. June is the sixth month of the year.让学生充分运用这些语言点在实际生活中的交流。充分用英文表达对父母的爱。以及父亲节母亲节的由来。

二、教学过程:

Step one

Warm-up(大约5分钟):

1. Answer my questions. 2. Try to retell. March and April 3. Answer the questions: Which month is after April ?

【设计意图】思维导图是学生喜欢的一种学习方式。我首先给学生建立了学习语言的支架,给学生用思维导图的形式复习巩固3,4月份。既形象又直观,自然而然的引入本课的学习话题“五月”,让学生对课文内容有了一定的感知。起到了承上启下的作用。

Step two Presentation and practise (大约25分钟)

It is number five. Letters” ve” change into “fth”. It is the fifth.

Labour Day Or May Day.

3.When is Labour Day? It is on May 1st.(介绍劳动节的由来)。

They sing and dance to celebrate May Day.

Mother’s Day is also in May.

5.When is mother’s Day? It is on the second Sunday of May.

6.What do we give to our mothers on Mother’s Day? Why? 7. Watch the video(母亲节的由来)What can be a gift for your mother? What colour should be the carnation? According to the table. 【设计意图】通过设疑激趣,让学生步步为盈,五月一日劳动节。通过网上查阅资料了解劳动节的由来。充分展示学生的动手能力。让他们通过猜一猜了解母亲节。激发学习的乐趣,收集学习英文母亲节的由来,这样给优等生一个展示的机会,充分让优等生吃饱。这时学习有了一个小小的高潮。让学生整体感知理解课文内容,我们又为学生们设计了表格,整理捋顺时间,事件,让学生通过表格的填写更加清晰五月的学习内容,通过小组合作展示完成。师生练习,生生互动的方式操练句型,反复感悟句型。

【设计意图】通过五月的学习,学生有了一定的学习能力,根据五月的表格来完成六月的学习,学生们既兴奋又期待。这样既锻炼学生小组合作的能力,又能培养学生的自学能力。(六月的Number, festival, when, activities, why)这五方面,利用表格的方式,既清晰又准确的捋顺了六月的语言点,这样更加帮助学生加速记忆这些语言点的句型。June is the six month of the year. June1st, the first day of June. Children’s Day is on the first day of June. They perform to celebrate Father’s Day.这样学生们在轻松愉快的氛围中学会了目标语言。达到了学以致用。

【设计意图】使用多媒体课件,集图片、文字、声效于一体,为枯燥的句型学习创设了真实的语言环境,使学生兴趣盎然,在轻松快乐中掌握了新的知识,达到交际的目的。

Step three Production(大约10分钟)

about the March April May June in groups. 【设计意图】采用填写表格的形式加深六月的学习,更加清晰目标语言。鼓励学生用已掌握的词汇拓展语言。给学生自由交际的空间,使所学知识得到加深、巩固提高,并且通过学生介绍自己喜欢的月份的缘由,充分培养学生运用英语,使用英语,学以致用的能力。

三、作业:

必做:1.读熟、背诵L23课文

2.预习L24

3.完成练习册

选做:模仿L23,继续完成为什么喜欢五月六月的理由。

【设计意图】作业分出层次既可以面向全体又能因材施教,照顾到不同层次的学生,是每个学生都有不同层次的提高。通过熟读,背诵,模仿让每个学生都能体验到学习英语的乐趣。通过收集资料与同学分享,让同学们感到分享的乐趣。
