Teaching methods As we all know the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities

of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language . So in this lesson I will let the students learn in real situations finish a task by making a dialogue to help students to get a better understanding of the key structure of the sentences. I will arrange four kinds of activities: sing, guessing game , whisper, and having a competition. 四、

Teaching procedures Step 1 . Warming up and preview

1.Sing the song together: My favourite season.

2.Watch the video and tell the words about weather. Step 2. Presentation

Read and say: Which season is it? 2.

Let’s guess the phrases. 3.

Do you know the sentences about season? 4.

Play a game :Make a sentence. Here are some words, I will choose two students in two teams, these two students need finish the sentences in ten seconds. The others count from 1 to 10, and then say stop. 5.

Just do it: Fill in the blanks. 6.

Game: interview. Go to your friend, and ask him a question about season.

Game: Whisper. 8.

Watch the video and then write a passage. (Team work) 五、
