Teaching Goals: 1.To let the students to use the subjunctive mood by putting forward questions or showing them an example 2.To enable the students to know the structure of subjunctive mood unconsciously 3.To let the the students to summarize the rules of subjunctive mood by themselves 4.To put the rules into use by a variety of activities Emotional Goals: 1.To learn to think independently, cooperate efficiently and demonstrate bravely 2.To understand, to practice, to summarize, and to improve 3.To educate the value of hard work by the pictures and sentences 4.To understand the significance of being an upright person Difficult and important points: 1.When talk about something impossible related to the present,it’s hard for students to use the right verb form in the main sentence 2.When talk about something impossible related to the future,it’s easy for them to make a mistake like “I will do something”

2.Two videos recorded by the students in my class 3.A multi-media computer and a blackboard Teaching steps: Step 1.Greetings T:Good morning,everyone. I’m very very happy to meet all of you here.

Step 2.Lead in

I will show them a video recorded by the two famous actors in our class to introduce subjunctive mood.All of them will be amazed at their performance. By asking them “Is Zhang Renke Bill gates?” to lead them to the topic

”If we want to describe situations that are not true, we will use Subjunctive Mood.”

Step 3.The Present Situation

1.Discussion:What would you do if you had a great deal of money? And give them an

instruction:If had a great deal of money,I would… Firstly, ask several students to show their sentences.（1points）Then, make four sentences together by showing them the pictures and key phrases.

Suggested sentences:If I had a great deal of money, I would build a primary school.

If I had a great deal of money, I could buy a car.

If I had a great deal of money, I might buy a villa .

If I had a great deal of money, I should travel around the world. 2.While reading the sentences together, let them think and find out the rules by giving them some hints. Suggested answers:If sb did sth/ were sth, sb would/could/might/should do sth （2 points）

3.By telling them ,“ I don’t have a great deal of money and how about you?” to introduce a character named Zhao Dehan from the hot TV series. I will introduce Zhao Dehan like this” This man has such a fridge, such a wall and such a bed.How rich is he ,right? However, he didn’t spend a coin. Do you want to find the secret of this man.”And then show them an English version of the video recorded by another group of students. Step 4.the past situation

1.After enjoying the video,I will ask them ,“If you were Zhao

Dehan, would you abuse your power to get money? “ The answer is absolutely not. Then, come up with another question ,”If he hadn't abused his power, what would have happened to him?” Answers are varied.Finally, I will show two pictures to ask them to make the sentences I need. Suggested answers:If he hadn't abused his power,he wouldn't have been arrested.

If he hadn't been arrested, he would have lived a happy and simple life. 2.Choose one volunteer to summarize the rules Suggested answers:If sb had done sth, sb would/could/might/should have done sth (2 points) 3.Fill in the blanks by showing some funny pictures（1 points）

them. My ideas:If I became a leader in the future, I should reduce pollution by calling on people to ride sharing bikes.

If I were to become a leader in the future, I would build another red ribbon school for kids.

4.Translate and perform Zhou Xingchi’s classic lines（3 points）
