How many rabbits?

Teaching goals: 1. Be able to understand and learn to say the
new structure as following
A: How many…can you see?
B: 数字+名词复数(+s/+es) 2.Be able to understand and read the words
correctly:sixteen,seventeen eighteen,nineteen,twenty Important points 1.Help the students understand the meaning of the sentences 2. Help the students to use the sentences and the words correctly. Prepare: flashcards, video,PPT
教学过程:
I. Greeting:
T: Good morning , class !
Ss:......
T: Who’s on duty today?
Ss:......
II. Lead-in
T: Boys and gorls, let’s sing “fingers”song.
One finger,two fingers,three fingers,four fingers,five fingers,six fingers,seven fingers,eight fingers,nine fingers ,ten fingers...
III.While-task
T: Students,look at the picture,What can you see?
Ss:bird.
T: So, how many birds?
Ss: Nine bird.
T: No, nine bird(s) .(Students should check it)
Ss: Nine birds.

T: How many tigers?
Ss: Six tigers.
T: How many dogs?
Ss: Two dogs.
IV. Work in pairs.(两人一组)
Students use “How many...” ask each other and practice again and again .
V. Review and summary
Use number“one-ten”as old knowledge to lead to “eleven-twenty”.

How many cats can you see? I can see four cats. How many rabbits can you see?
I can see five rabbits. How many mice can you see?
I can see eight mice …
