How long is …? It is …long. How old is…? It is … years old.对物体长度，年代等特征进行描述。

学习难点：

本课的教学难点是能够区分How long 与How old句型，并给出正确的回答。

教学过程：

一、导入

Warm up: Listen to the song the Great wall of China.出示PPT导入本课所学，T: Where is it? It is the Great Wall. The Great Wall单词讲解，并告知学生这是一旅游名地，讲述有关长城的历史，增加学生的爱国情怀。

二、自主学习，合作探究

1、自读课文，划出不懂得问题（单词、课文）

例如：kilometer读音

a picture of汉语意思

2、听录音，跟读，模仿语音语调

3、小组合作，归纳问题组长带领共同解决

三、反馈展示，质疑释疑

1、小组长展示问题，共同解决

2、教师以检测的形式让学生展示（单词、重点句子）

四、精讲提升，拓展延伸

1.练习重点句型（多形式）

出示长城图片，学生的尺子，课本，课桌等常见物品，同桌互相问：How long is the….?并给出回答。或者教师问学生答。

2.设置与重点知识相关的练习

出示类似于补充句子的形式练习。

教师讲解how long与how old 的区别

Kilometer的复数与缩写形式
