本模块的教学内容是表达请求和意愿,谈论过去的行为。
第一单元的课文情境是Daming即将去纽约看望他的表兄Simon,他问Fangfang该给Simon带什么礼物。Fangfang提议说带一只玩具熊猫,Daming说Simon已经有玩具熊猫了,因为他的妈妈和奶奶都是中国人。Fangfang又提议说带一只风筝,Daming觉得这个主意不错。在F的帮助下,Daming做了一只中国龙的风筝。Fangfang认为Simon一定会喜欢这件礼物,并且建议Daming在风筝上写上汉子“龙”。
第二单元的课文描述了Daming制作风筝的过程:他先在一张黄色的纸上画了一条龙,然后给龙涂上了颜色,接着把龙剪下了,再在龙身上贴上木棍,最后绑上风筝线,一只风筝就做好了。
本模块第一单元的学习重点是一般将来时,教师可带领学生巩固、强化“will”表达请求和意愿的用法;第二单元的学习重点是一般过去时,教师带领学生总结本模块所学动词的一般过去式。
