本模块的教学内容是表达请求和意愿，谈论过去的行为。

第一单元的课文情境是Daming即将去纽约看望他的表兄Simon，他问Fangfang该给Simon带什么礼物。Fangfang提议说带一只玩具熊猫，Daming说Simon已经有玩具熊猫了，因为他的妈妈和奶奶都是中国人。Fangfang又提议说带一只风筝，Daming觉得这个主意不错。在F的帮助下，Daming做了一只中国龙的风筝。Fangfang认为Simon一定会喜欢这件礼物，并且建议Daming在风筝上写上汉子“龙”。

第二单元的课文描述了Daming制作风筝的过程：他先在一张黄色的纸上画了一条龙，然后给龙涂上了颜色，接着把龙剪下了，再在龙身上贴上木棍，最后绑上风筝线，一只风筝就做好了。

本模块第一单元的学习重点是一般将来时，教师可带领学生巩固、强化“will”表达请求和意愿的用法；第二单元的学习重点是一般过去时，教师带领学生总结本模块所学动词的一般过去式。
