Analysis of the teaching material:

This is the 2nd period of Unit One. The main purpose of this lesson is to make Ss. to learn some information about how RealCine works, why it is better than ordinary cinema, and how it can be used in many other ways. Teaching aims:

1. To learn some information about how RealCine works, why it is better than ordinary cinema, and how it can be used in many other ways. 2. To cultivate the students’ ability of getting related information effeciently and pricisely. 3. To enable students to know the technology of VR and know the structure of a business proposal.

Teaching important and difficult points:

Make the students understand the reading material better. 2.

Students may have difficulty in the pronunciation of some important words. Eg. RealCine 3.

Students may have difficulty in the structure and language for a proposal 4.

1. Free talk before reading to make the students interested in what they will learn.

Step 1 Lead-in

T: Ok, I can bring you there, but how? Today, I’ll introduce you an advanced technology called VR(Virtual Reality). This technology can enable you to enjoy the virtual trip to Egypt without going there. Today we’ll focus on VR in a business presentation.

As a presentation is to be given to those making decisions, it has to be clear and appealing.

Step 6 Work in pairs

Ask students to work in pairs to discuss the following question and then give them one sample to imitate it.

Step 6 Homework Ask students to finish an essay about their opinions why they decide to use RealCine or why they decide not to use RealCine.
