Lead-in

Look at some pictures about dinosaurs and lead in the topic ---The Return of The Dinosaur? Step II

Warming up

Let's enjoy some pictures about dinosaurs about different kinds of dinosaurs to broaden students' horizons.

Ask students to think over---Whether the dinosaurs can return to the earth? Step III Reading

Task 1 Scanning

Read in silence and find out some specific information and finish the T or F questions.

Task 2 Careful-reading

Sum up the main idea, seize the writer's opinion, pay attention to some details and draw a conclusion.

Task 3 Summary

Sum up the reasons why it is either impossible or unsuitable to clone extinct animals. Step IV

Discussion

If you have the chance to make the extinct animals return to the earth, which one you will choose and give the reasons and at last present a report to the other students. (In group)
