Plan How to learn efficiently ------A “Special” Mother’s Day Teaching aims: 1.

To educate students to be grateful to their mothers Teaching important points: 1. Let students learn how to learn efficiently and analyze a good passage 2. Get students to learn to accumulate useful words and phrases. Teaching aids:

Check the homework-----a passage about Mother’s Day 2.

Pick out the problems-----most of the students didn’t pay attention to useful words, expressions and sentences in the passage. Step 3 Passage analysis 1.

Four groups ------Four different tasks Task 1: Learn to accumulate some useful words and phrases. (At least 10 words or phrases) Task 2: Learn to pick out the sentences used for grammatical cloze. (At least 5 sentences) Task 3: Learn to find out some useful sentence patterns and make up your own sentences by using these sentence patterns. (At least 3 sentences) Task 4: Learn to find out some difficult long sentences and analyze them. (At least 3 sentences) 2.
