一、Warming up: 1、Greeting: T: Hello boys and girls. Ss: Hello，Miss Zhou. T: How are you today? Ss: I am fine, thank you. And you? T: I am fine too. Welcome back to the English class. 二、Lead-in : Today, we will learn the new unit, the topic will be: my favourites. Everyone has their favourites. Now I would like to know your favourite things. The teacher asks students what their favourite fruit,food and animals are. Then let students ask the teacher’s favourite things. When referring to colours, write down the title of today on the blackboard. 三：New concepts. Step I：Talk about colors: 1、look at the balloons and say their colors. 2. What’s this? For example: It’s a green tree. 3. Favourite colour Now let’s know about the favourite colours of Mr. Wood, Jenny, Danny, Kim and Steven.

a.Self-reading: Open your book to page 50 and read silently .Find the answers to the questions. Question 1: What is Jenny’s favourite colour? Question 2: Who like green? b. Listening: Listen to the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation. c. Reading: Read part1 after the tape. Read part 1 after the teacher. d. Speaking: Talk about your favourite colours. The teacher try to let them know the use of words: I, my, we, our ,they, their, he, his, she, her. e. Expanding and consolidating: Finish the exercises on the paper. Then check the answers together.
