课堂教学设计（六）

The Panda Base 教学目标：

1.

能正确朗读和理解短文的内容，完成相关的练习。

2.

培养学生爱护动物的情感。

教学的重点与难点：

能正确朗读和理解短文的内容，完成相关的练习。

学情分析：

本节课的教学对象是小学六年级学生，他们对英语仍然有着浓厚的学习兴趣，对英语充满了好奇心，也具备一定的语言知识和技能。他们大部分都能运用简单的日常用语进行交际而且他们还富有想象力和创造力，合作意识强，自主学习探索能力强，于是我采取了同桌合作，分小组和独立阅读等形式来指导学生进行任务型教学。通过短文的阅读和相关的讨论来培养学生爱护动物的情感。

教学过程：

（一）Warm up：

Free talk

（师生通过问答进行口语交际T:Do you like animals? What animal do you like? Do you like pandas? Do you want to learn more about them?在阅读短文之前先通过师生问答，让学生立刻融入到英语学习的氛围中，无形中拉近了师生之间的距离，为接下来的短文阅读做好铺垫）

2.

Let’s chant 《I had a lucky day》

（轻松欢快的音乐节奏，能让课堂气氛活跃起来）

(二) Presentation：

1.观看短文视频并回答问题

: Do the pandas live in Tibet、Sichuan or Guangdong? （通过观看短文视频能够帮助学生快速了解学习内容的大体意思，能够迅速找出课文中的关键信息）

2. 默读并完成判断练习题，在评讲练习题过程中并解释有关的新单词。

1). The Panda Base is in Sichuan.

2). Scientists help panda mothers and babies.

3). The scientists like panda twins.

4). The scientists always go to bed early.

（让学生默读短文，初步了解短文内容，思考并完成判断练习题能进一步帮助学生对所学内容加深记忆，为下一步合作学习打好基础）

3. Pair-work: 跟师读课文，再一次掌握新单词的读音和理解短文内容，并做简答题.

（在合作学习中找出问题的答案能够激发学生竞争意识和团队精神，同时加强学生听说能力的训练）

4. 情感教育，指导学生看课文中的图片，培养学生保护熊猫的情感。

5. 让学生再观看视频，感受纯正的单词发音的同时，让保护熊猫的情感在学生的心中更加强烈。

6. 拓展学习

Tigers Tigers live in the forest. They have got “a brown coat” with black strips. They have long tails and the tails are about 80-150cm long. They catch small animals as their food. Their favorite animals are deer and boars.

Tigers are never far from the water. They are good swimmers and love bathing in pools and lakes. The young ones stay with their mothers in a family group for two years, learning to hunt.

Tigers look like the big cats. When tigers roar, you can hear the sound almost two miles away. But when they are sick, they purr, like a cat in your house.

Write T for true and F for false. 1）. The tigers have got “a black coat” with brown strips.

7. 再让学生初步了解课文另外三种动物。

（学生在巩固语言知识的同时，进一步关注了情感教育，让学生学会珍惜和爱护动物。

8. 情感教育：通过本课的学习，使学生理解到熊猫的数量极其稀少，从而增强他们对熊猫的感情，使他们要保护熊猫的欲望更强烈些，从而达到保护所有的动物的教育情感。
