Unit5 Being Helpful

第一课时

课标要求:P10,P14,P18,P20, P22, P24。

教学目标:

1、知识与技能:(1)学会请求别人帮忙做某事的句型Can you +动词原型? 并能用该句型结合情景做对话。(2)学习家务活的英语表达。(3)掌握以下单词的读音和意义:turn on the light, turn off the TV,put a away your books, take out your notebook. right now , in a minute, later.

2、过程与方法:通过网上查找资料,听课文录音和请教高年级学生等方式,初步掌握掌握课文背景和句型。通过小组合作学习进一步提高单词的拼读能力。通过全班展示和教师点拨熟练掌握课文知识并能在实际中运用。

3、情感、态度与价值观:培养学生敢于用英语谈论帮忙的话题,加深学习英语的兴趣。

教学重难点:

教学过程

Step 1 Write down the meaning of the words below.

turn on the light(开灯), turn off the TV(关电视),put a away your books(收拾好你的书), take out your notebook(拿出你的笔记本). take out the trash (拿出垃圾),right

now(立刻,马上), in a minute(过一会儿), later(稍后),proud(骄傲). Step 2

(1)To import new lesson.

T: Who often helps parents do housework? Please tell me about it.

Group show.

Each group cooperated to complete the pre-operation.

Group cooperation:

(2)Spell words in natural pinyin.,Listen to the tape and study with the rest of the group. Group show. Teacher and student evaluation.

(3)Listen to the tape and talk about what he means.

Dialogue 1:A:Can you take out the trash,please?

B:Sure , I’ll take it out.

A:I’m proud of you.

Dialogue 2:A:Can you hang up my clouthes?

B:Sure,I’ll hang them up in a minute.

Step3 Extension

Use the sentences you learned to communicate and present the word cards.

1、Pair work.Use the following sentence patterns to make a dialogue.

Teaching postscript:

大部分学生都能正确地读出本课的短语,而且都能用“Can you...”来问,简单回答也没问题,但要详细回答的话,必须要把名词变成物主代词,而且位置也变了,故很多学生很难做到。针对这种情况,下一节课我会加强短语的操练,如“turn on the TV——turn it on","put away your books——put tnem away” 。
