教材分析

本节课内容围绕主人公Sally和Wang Tao的谈话展开。谈论他们及家人上学、上班的出行方式。本课作为第四单元的第一课，主要内容是学习出行方式by car, by school bus, by bike和on foot,并能询问他人出行方式，且能从别人的谈话中获取信息，能在口语交际和书面运用中表达自己或他人出行时的交通方式。

学情分析

本课的教学对象是小学四年级学生，他们对英语学习已有一定的基础，学生已经学习了一些关于交通工具的单词，如：bus, bike, car…等。本课则要求学生能够加上by后，明白出行方式的短语。对于学生而言，本节课的难点在于理解第三人称单数形式，具有一定的难度。因此，教师如何通过巧妙的设计，突破重难点是一个教学关键所在。

本课题是根据本年段学生学习语言的认知规律和《课标》提出的学习目标来设计的，以谈论出行方式作为这堂课的主线，引导学生通过教师设计听、说、读、写的教学说动，学习语言、运用语言、发展学生综合语言运用能力，达到“学以致用”的目的。

资源的开发及说明

本节课采用多媒体课件辅助教学，利用图片，声音，动画来刺激学生感官，让学生在愉悦中学习，体验学习的乐趣，增强的学习效果。
