教学目标

1.知识目标：

⑴学习并掌握单词amazing、Stonehenge. ⑵学习及掌握句子It was amazing. 2.能力目标：能够听懂会说本单元句型，并运用一般过去时谈论事件。 3.情感目标：通过描述过去的事情，引导学生热爱生活，学会与他人分享。 教学重点 1．

掌握单词amazing, thought。 2．

句子：It was amazing.并能运用一般过去时在实际情景中运

用。 教学难点 在情景中运用功能句；运用一般过去时谈论事件。

教学步骤

Step1. Warming up 1. Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, miss guan! T: OK. How are you today? Ss: I’m fine. And how are you, Miss Ni! T: I’m very well! Thank you！

T: What did you do yesterday? S1: I went to the park.

S2: I played basketball. T: You played basketball, was it interesting? Were you happy? 【设计意图】教师与学生自然交流昨天做了什么，创设了英语学习氛围，也为后面的学习做好铺垫。

Step2. Presentation and drill 1. lead in T: Here are some pictures, let’s enjoy. Tell me: how do you feel? T: How do you feel ? S1: They are interesting. S2: They are amazing. T: Yes, I think they are amazing,too.

2. Read after teacher: amazing 【设计意图】通过欣赏一组图片，引出单词amazing, 帮助学生理解单词的意思。

3. Show another picture , ask students: What can you see in the picture?

4. Watch a video about Stonehenge, learn more about it. 5. Say something about Stonehenge. 【设计意图】出示巨石阵的图片和观看视频，让学生初步了解这个地方，为文本学习打好基础。

6.Present the letter , look and answer: Who wrote the letter？Then play a game, review the verbs: have--had、 say--said、 laugh--laughed、

Take--took、play--played 【设计意图】出示信件，引导学生读书信，捕捉关键信息。并通过游戏的形式复习单词，同时调动学生的学习兴趣。

7．⑴Listen to the text, answer the question: When did the go to Stonehenge. 【设计意图】听课文，回答问题，初步了解课文。

⑵Watch the video, answer the questions: What did they do there? What was the surprise? Which picture did Lingling take? 【设计意图】通过看视频回答更多细节问题，帮助学生进一步理解文本。

8. Practice: take a helicopter ride

【设计意图】通过回答细节问题，引出难点，并看图填空进行练习，解决难点。

T: OK. Very good! Sit down, please! Now, the third time, read after me. 9. Read the text together. 10. Look at more pictures about Stonehenge, get more information about it: How many stones? How tall is the stone? How heavy is the stone? Why did people build it?

Step 3 Extension 给Lingling 写一封信，告诉她你的一次旅行。
