Lesson 6 Little Zeke 教学目标
1.学生能听懂和理解这个简单的故事;
2.学生能就故事进行简单的问答;
3.学生能对部分情节分角色表演。能根据关键词简单的复述故事。

Little Zeke和Tess的故事以及如何让学生体会爱的教育和互助精神。

教学过程: 一. 通过一个游戏和free talk引入friend 主题。
1.用一个球,玩一个游戏play catch. Teacher says “throw”, students say “catch”. The student who catches the ball throws the ball
and others catch the ball. 2.通过一个游戏引出是否愿意和朋友一起玩耍的话题。) A free talk about what else do you like to do with your friends? Do you like to fly kites with your friends? Do you like to play on the ground with your friends? What else do you like to do with your friends? 学生们自由表达自己喜欢和朋友们做的事情。
free talk 可以锻炼学生的表达能力还可以复习旧的知识,为引出Little Zeke的故事情节做准备,同时为由故事引出的情感教育----朋友,不仅仅是一起快乐的玩耍还要在陷入困境时互相帮助做铺垫。) 二. 了解故事情节。
1.介绍故事其中两个主要人物Little Zeke ,Emma. 2.Ask questions “how many friends do you have?”
“ Who are they?”
“What do you like to do with your friends?”
“How many friends does Little Zeke have?”
“What does Little Zeke do with his friends?”引出Little Zeke的故事。
3..A video about the story. 4.通过听tape,问一些问题,了解学生对故事情节大致的了解程度。Ask the students the question “How many friends does Little Zeke have?”
“What does Little Zeke do with his friends?”
“What does Little Zeke do to help Emma and Tess?”
(了解学生对故事的理解程度,帮助学生理出故事主线,引出主题help,介绍另一主要人物Tess.) 5.Let students read the part of the story about Little Zeke and Emma. Q: How does Little Zeke help Emma? (Let students find the clue.) Q: Why does Little Zeke help Emma? Q: Are Tom, Nane and Jane Little Zeke’ s friends? Q: Can they see Little Zeke? Where is Little Zeke?
(Let the students find the clue.) hide这个单词,让学生自己根据拼读规则拼读hide。出示Little Zeke的图片,演示他hide的位置。
Q: Can you hide in the desk? Can you hide under the desk? Ask some students if they can hide under the desk, And why? ( If they say “yes”, show us.) A game: Ask one student to come to the front and hide somewhere. Guess where does he/she hide.
Point to the teacher in the story, and ask the name of the teacher and what does Little Zeke do for her. 6.Read the part about Little Zeke and the Emma again, ask some questions to review the story about them. 7.The story about Little Zeke and Tess. Q: How many friends does Little Zeke have? One is Emma, the other is …
Students stand up to read the part about Little Zeke and Tess, when they finished they can sit down. Give the follow subject to

学生输出答案后,创设一个情境,想象一下Tess 刚来到班级时同学们说了什么, Tess会说什么,什么样的表情, 小组讨论,并把自己想象的剧情表演出来。
(这样可以发展学生的想象能力,创作能力,表达能力。让学生自己去编剧本的方式激发学生的学习热情,表达热情。)

e. 给几分钟,小组练习表演Little Zeke 和Tess 的故事,可以加入自己的想象。找几组进行表演。
三. 用几个问题回顾整个故事,串起故事情节。
How many friends does Little Zeke have? Who are they? Where does Little Zeke hide? What does Little Zeke do for his friends? 四.在黑板上给出关键词,让学生根据关键词复述故事。
Little Zeke , Emma, Tess, two, many, hide, help, afraid, hide, write. 五. 让学生感悟朋友之间应该做什么。
When you have a friend, not only play with them, When they are in trouble, try your best to help them. (当你有了朋友,不仅和他们开心的玩耍,当他们陷于困境时,也要尽你最大努力的去帮助他们。) Help each other , make more friends, you will be happy too. 板书:
