In this class, we are going to focus on the adjectives. For the primary students, learning and using the adjectives properly will help them to express themselves vividly. Warm-up: we are going to talk about me and themselves to get to know each other and have a good relationship. Them they will think and use an adjective to describe me such as beautiful, short, big eyes etc. Presentation: Students will fill in the blanks in three sentences. 1. It’s a ______ day. 2. Miss Cui is _________. 3. I have a _______ bag. Then we will play a funny games: choose three adjective words to fill in the blanks. Maybe it is ridiculous, maybe it doesn’t make sense, but that is the funny part. You will never know what the sentence is before you choose the words. Draw the hair, flowers on the circles. Students are going to practice the art while they talk in English. They will say the sentence: A is short. B is shorter. C is the shortest. long longer longest A is big. B is bigger. C is the biggest. small smaller smallest A is beautiful. B is more beautiful. C is the most beautiful. Consolidation: Students are supposed to say the best in class. … is the tallest. the shotest. the thinnest the strongest the best. they will not only say the sentence, but also learn to find the beauty around us.
