Aims on the abilities Ability aims are to improve students’ listening and speaking ability by reading and practicing the dialogue. And train the Ss’ ability of working in groups. 3. Aims on the emotion. Cultivate Ss’ interest in learning English and establish their self—confidence to learn English. Ⅱ Key point To help the Ss ask and answer the question : How do you go to school? And make sure they can use this sentence in real situations. Difficult point To help the Ss ask and answer the question : How does he go to school?

I walk to school=I go to school on foot. Ⅲ Teaching aids. In this lesson, the PPT, some pictures, will be used. These can arouse the students’ interest in English. Ⅳ Teaching methods In teaching I use some way to help me complete my teaching tasks; such as listening and speaking method; action reaction communicated method; group cooperation method. And make real situations.

Show a picture What’s this? It’s our school. Do you like our school? Can you describe our school?I like our school.It’s beautiful.and it’s quite.It’s good for our study.

Step 3 presentation words: bike listen to the voice What’s this? bike=bicycle Then :like ride bike : I like to ride a bike. Word bus Listen: it’s a bus. Word car Listen: it’s a car. Word Taxi=cab and there are some other vehicles. like plane ship train subway. Practice these words. I point you say. Say them one by one . Can you cross the river?Is this a bike? No it’s a car. Sentences: How do you go to school? By bus I go to school by car By taxi By bike Practice with your partner.make two parts. Then read it together. let’s play a game.turntable game. Do you go to school by bus? No,I live near the school .so I go to school on foot. Practice let’s chant By this it can foster Ss’ consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition. Evaluation also help Ss build their confidence, and improve their ability of speaking.
