学情分析：课教学内容是五年级上册最后一个单元In a nature park部分的阅读课，通过描述自然公园来进一步巩固第五单元的There be 句型和本单元学的Is/Are there…?句型。在学生的已有知识基础之上，再进行巩固和拓展，最后进行情感的升华。

Teaching aims :1 Ss can understand the dialogue . 2. Ss can listen, say ,read ,write the sentence :Are there any pandas in the mountains ? No, there aren’t .Are there any fish in the rivers ? Yes ,there are . 3.Ss can use the sentence patterns: Are there any…?Yes ,there are./No ,there aren’t in real situation. 4. To foster Ss loveliness to their hometown or their country . Key points :1. Ss can listen, say ,read ,write the sentence :Are there any pandas in the mountains ? No, there aren’t .Are there any fish in the rivers ? Yes ,there are . 2. Ss can use the sentence patterns :Are there any…?Yes ,there are./No ,there aren’t in real situation. Difficulty points :1.Ss can use the word “any ”correctly.

2.Ss can describe their surroundings by using the sentence patterns: There is …./There are ….

What’s the weather like today? Are you happy today? Step 2:Review T: I’m very happy today. Because my friends come to visit me. Look, who are they? Ss:They are Sarah, Chenjie and Dengming. T:Yes, you are right. Do you want to make friends with them? Ss: T: Great ! It’s the first time they come here .So let’s show them around our city.(以介绍自己的城市，联系实际，把英语用到生活中。) Ss: (show Ss several photos of Maoming city. eg. Guangbai Mall, Xinhu Park, The cultural Square )

T:Where is it ?What can you see? What’s it like?(引导学生运用巨型Thereis …,There are…) S:There are…./There is ….

Step 3: Presentation T:Now we can see the east river of Maoming.Are there any boats in the river? S: (show the sentence pattern on the screen :Are there …?Yes ,there are ./No ,there aren’t)

Let the Ss ask and answer base on the photo. T: This is a photo of Maoming city,too. But there is something wrong with it. Let’s guess what they are.(以猜图的形式，引导学生使用句型Are there …?进行询问是否有某物，学生可以自由发挥进行提问。锻炼他们的想象力，可以考察的他们词汇量) S1:Are there any …?

T:Yes ,there are . S2: Are there any…?

T: Now we have shown them around our city. But do you want to know anything about their city? Ss:Yes.

T:Good. Let’s find out where they are from .

Two questions for the Ss:Where is Sarah from? Where is Chenjie from? Let the Ss listen to the tape of Read and Write . Check the two answers T: Listen again and answer the questions. Are there any pandas in the mountains ? _______________________ Are there any fish in the rivers ? _______________________ Check the answers. Let the Ss read the dialogue silently and find out the answers on their sheet. Check the anwers Step 4:

Divide the class into two groups and let them read in roles. ③

Pairwork. Let the Ss play the dialogue with their parner and then act out the dialogue.

Let the Ss listen to the brief hearing material of Dengming’s hometown and fill in the blanks.
