一、教学目标：

1. 能够按照正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。

2. 能够运用句型There are…in...来描述周围的景物。

3. 培养学生保护环境，热爱大自然的意识。

教学重点：

1.能够在语境中理解词汇tree, bridge, building, village, house. 2. 能够在情景中运用Are there…in…?

Yes, there are./No, there aren’t进行问答练习。

二、教学难点：

1. 能够运用核心词汇和句型完成有关自然公园的景物的问答活动。

2. 如何把There are句式改成一般疑问句。

五、教学过程：

1. Warming up and revision

(6 mins) (1) Teacher plays the video which is about nature park and students sing after the video.

(2) Teacher presents the pictures about nature park and students read the words they have learned last class. (3) Teacher presents a group of pictures and students use the “there be”

sentence pattern to talk about the pictures. 2. Let’s try (3 mins) (1) Students read the question of let’s try. (2) Teacher plays the tape and students listen to the tape and fill in the blank. (3) Teacher plays the tape again, teacher together with students checks the answer. 3. Listening

(10 mins) (1) Students look at the picture in Let’s talk and try to describe the picture by using the “there be” sentence pattern.

(2) Teacher presents the meaning of animal, rabbit and duck. (3) Students listen to the tape and find the answer to the question：Are there any tall buildings in the nature park? (4) Teacher plays the tape again and checks the answer, teacher writes the sentence: No, there aren’t in the blackboard. (5) Students listen to the tape and find the answer to the question：Are there any animals in the nature park? (6) Teacher plays the tape again and checks the answer, teacher writes the sentence: Yes, there is in the blackboard. 4. After listening

(10 mins) (1) Teacher plays the tape and students read loudly after the tape sentence by

sentence. (2) Teacher presents the context of the dialogue. (3) Students are divided into two groups, one group read the part of Zhang Peng and the other read the part of Miss White. (4) The girls read the part of Miss White and the boys read the part of Zhang Peng. (5) Students do the role-play, one student read the part of Zhang Peng, the other read the part of Miss White. 4. Practice

(10 mins) (1) Teacher uses the sentences in the dialogue for example to show how to change the “there be” sentence pattern into the general question. (2) Students do the exercise. (3) Teacher interprets the key sentence pattern:

Are there….in a nature park. and the negative answer and positive answer. (4) Teacher presents some pictures and students answer the question: Are there…in a nature park according to the picture. 5. Homework
