Teaching aims: 1. Enable to listen, say, read and write the 4-skill sentences: “Is there a/an…in/on…? Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t.”

2. Enable to use the sentences to describe some places or something; “There is a/an….” ,“Is there a/an….?”

Key Points & Difficult Points: To use these sentences in the different situations. Teaching aids:

CAI, cards Teaching procedures: Step1.Warm-up: 1.Greeting each others. 2.T: Boys and girls, look at the bedroom. Wow, it’s nice. What’s in the bedroom? S1: There is a bed in the bedroom. S2: There is a clock in the bedroom. S3: There is plant in the bedroom. S4: There is a picture in the bedroom. 【设计意图】通过对bedroom的描述，系统的复习了There be句型，为新课的学习做了铺垫。

Step2. Presentation & Practice: 1.当学生说到There is a picture in the bedroom.时，教师点击图画，图画由小变大。

T: It's a nature park. (教读nature park)

T: There are many nature parks in our country, such as Jiuzhaigou, Guilin, Yellow Mountain and so on.

I like Jiuzhaigou best. Do you know Jiuzhaigou? OK,I will show some pictures for you. now let’s go and have a look. What can you see in Jiuzhaigou?（播放九寨沟视频）

【设计意图】创设情境，整体感知。使学生在真实的语境中感知语言，激发学习兴趣，体现语言学习整体性。

2. 教学单词forest T: What can you see in Jiuzhaigou? S: I can see ~~in Jiuzhaigou. T:Can you see a tree ? (边说边在黑板上画树)One tree ,two trees , three trees,Four trees ,five trees . More and more trees make a forest. 认读单词，引导学生进行拼读。

出示课件：T：What’s in the forest?

(a bird/a panda) S: There is a /an _________in the forest. T: Is there a bird in the forest?

S:Yes. T: Is there a dog in the forest?

S:No. 引出句型“Is there a~~~?Yes,there is./No,there isn’t.”

并板书。

【设计意图】新授单词，创设语境，在情境中自然引出单词和句型。句型中操练单词的理念贯穿教学的始终。

3.教学单词mountain 课件出示大山图片，T:Is there a forest in the park? 引出单词mountain,进行认读训练。

T:Is there a mountain in the park? S:Yes,there is.引导小组互问互答。

T:There are many mountains in China.Yellow Mountain,Lushan Mountain. There is a famous mountain in Dazu.That is Beishan Mountain. 课件出示我国著名的山脉和家乡大山的图片。

4.教学单词hill T:Is there a mountain in the park?课件出示小山丘

S:No,there isn’t. 认读单词hill，并用图片区分mountain,hill. Will---hill教师指导发音方法

小组和个别学生之间进行问答练习：

Ss:Is there a hill in the park?

S1:Yes,there is.

5.教学单词

lake T:Is there a hill in the park?课件出示湖泊图片

S:No,there isn’t. T:There is a lake in the park.

出示cake---lake,指导学生拼读新词lake,并进行仿读训练。

T:Is there a lake in the park?

(T draw a lake on the board) S:Yes,there is. 操练：Who knows more lakes . Qinghai Lake,Lugu Lake ….

6.教学单词river Change a picture about river. T:Is this a lake? S:No,this is a river. 出示driver----river,指导学生拼读新词river，并进行防读训练。

T:Is there a river in the park?

(T draw a river on the board) S:Yes,there is.

引导小组间进行问答练习。

操练：what’s the longest river in China?

Changjiang River,Yellow River~~~ 【设计意图】学习新授单词时，引出本课时主要句型进行操练，体现了“词不离句”的教学理念。

Step3. Practice: 1.Let’s learn Open the books.listen and repeat 2.ask and answer Show some pictures.

S:Yes,there is./No,there isn’t. Step4：Extension T: Dazu is a beautiful nature park. In Chongqing, there are many nature parks, too. Now let’s have a look. (播放视频:武隆仙女山、江津四面山、大足龙水湖、

万盛黑山谷) please choose one place of Chongqing and introduce it for us. 小组活动：教师播放学生视频做示范，学生拿出做好的图片卡创编对话，介绍自己的家乡。

S1:Good moring,everyone. Ss: Good moring. S1: Welcome to Chongqing, this is Dazu.

S2: Is there a river in Dazu?

S3: Is there a forest in Dazu? S4: Is there a mountain in Dazu?

S1:Yes,there is./No,there isn’t. Ss:Wow,Dazu is beautiful.

【设计意图】请学生担任小导游和游客，介绍自己家乡重庆的自然公园的美丽风光。培养学生热爱家乡的感情。

T: Nature can provide fresh air and nice environment for us. It is everyone’s duty to protect the environment.So let’s love the nature, protect the nature. 【设计意图】运用语言，学以致用。联系生活把语言教真，让学生用英语来说生活是走出教材、提升学生能力的最佳途径。通过介绍自己家乡的自然公园，培养学生实际运用语言的能力。并适时对学生进行情感教育，达到本课情感升华——热爱大自然，保护大自然。
