Step 1 Warm-up

1. Greetings. 2.Sing a song: Boy and girl 3. Let’s chant Step 2 Presentation

Present the word “teacher”. 2.

a. Teacher introduces herself: Hello, I’m Miss Yuan. I’m a teacher. I’m from China. b. Guessing game: Teacher shows some pictures of the teachers.

T: Who is he/she?

Ss: He/ she is a teacher. c. Ss learn the new word, and practice. Show up the cards of teacher and student. T: Look at the picture. Who’s he? He’s Mr. Jones. He’s a teacher.

Teach “student” in the same way.

3. Practice new words. Teacher, teacher, I’m a teacher.

Student, student, I’m a student. T: Can you read this? Repeat and then read one by one. Write the sentence and teach. If all of the students can read it, Lead them to say: “Sure.” Then follow the teacher. 4|. T: Do you like playing games? Ss: Yes.

T: Now let’s play a game. Boys PK girls. If I say teacher, you say student. If I say she, you say he. Who is faster and you will get a gift. (you, me; man, woman; boy, girl; this, that; black, white; tall, short; thin, fat.)
