Teaching and learning goals In this lesson, we mainly learn the seven days of the week. And learn how to talk about students favorite subjects and give reasons. We also learn how to make out a useful learning schedule to save your time.

Teaching procedures Step1：

Warming up and lead-in.

Task1 ：Brainstorming.

Look at the pictures of books, and guess the subjects. Task2：Watch a short video to learn days of the week.

Step2：

Presentation.

Monday，Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday，Saturday，Sunday.

1）Read them several times to remember.

2）Pair work：Work in pairs to talk about the following. What's your favorite day of the week？Why？

Two minutes later invite some students to share.

2.Learn some adjectives with pictures.

difficult, easy, free, busy，boring，fun, interesting ，cool

1）Play a game：help the monkeys to go home.

（To divide the adjectives into different groups. ）

2）Task1a：Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right.

Step3：Listening 1.Task1b：Listen and check the words you hear in 1a 2.Task1c：Listen again, circle the classes David talks about on the schedule.

Step4：Pair work Task1d：Talk about David's favorite subject with your partner. Then talk about your favorite subject.

Step5：Exercise

Do some exercise to have a check on PPT.
